The low profile design features a durable composite upper and lower case, with an aluminum middle case that provides optimized thermal dissipation. Xpert 3000 Series "High Speed" Low Profile Aluminum Center Case Servo
I bought this servo to replace the rubbish Spektrum 6040 Low profile in my Losi 22T and in lieu of buying the new Spektrum 6270HV.
This out performs the Spektrum by almost double the torque at just 6 volts and being Low Voltage it doesn't drag on your Rx and require a glitch buster.
Spektrum 6270HV
Torque: 8.92 kg-cm @ 6.0V
Speed: .07 sec. @ 6.0V
Xpert 3000 Series
Torque: 15 kg-cm @ 6.0V:
Speed: .07 sec @ 6.0V
Plus this has many features that Spektrum and many other Low Profile servos don't have.
Amainhobbies, replacement gears for these would be great, but, I honestly hope I don't need them.
I've had to replace gears twice in the Spektrum and my reason for this purchase.

Xpert 3000 Series "High Speed" Low Profile Aluminum Center Case Servo
Great servo when there working, perfect for 2wd but this is a disposable servo at best so sorry for the 3 stars.
I have the aluminium case model which has the same internals with a different case (now discontinued) i had a crunchy gear mesh so I wanted to replace the gear set, So I bought the replacement gear set thinking of a quick change over but for sure it became a nightmare to access with anti tamper proof sealant inside. Don’t be fooled that they sell the replacement gear sets its impossible to replace the gears (Xpert sealed servos)
Iv even had a similar problem with the 4000 series servo but im going to put up with its notch. Why do good servos cost so much. :(

Xpert 3000 Series "High Speed" Low Profile Aluminum Center Case Servo
Went from proteck ss to radient 10k to Xpert 3000 and the Expert is night and day difference. Recentering is strong and smooth same with feel very good. After looking I wish I had ordered a reefs as it has a lot more torque but the 3000 is good.
