The motor is paired with the XL-5™ Waterproof Electronic Speed Control (ESC) which is designed to supply smooth and reliable power to the motor in all types of conditions. This ESC features three throttle profiles, low voltage detection, and Thermal Shutdown Protection, and features the exclusive and patented Training Mode™. This Training Mode reduces the overall power output of the XL-5 by fifty percent, making it easier for beginner drivers to develop their control skills before unleashing the full power. The high-torque 2056 steering servo provides optimal steering power, while the TQ™ 2.4GHz radio system with advanced programming offers long-range control for a smooth, glitch-free performance.
