SSD RC SCX6 M6 Scale Hub Tool

Was able to install my wheels and M6 nuts ok, had to be gentle with torque used, that said the adapter tool is weak and broke today. I sure don’t understand why SSD chose to make the 6th scale hub adapter out of plastic or delrin when the 1/24 and 1/10 tool is made out of aluminum. Seems stupid and cheap almost like they released a proto type concept tool and never finished it. I had to buy multiple tools this time and can not except those will last either. Handle it with kid gloves, that’s all I can say other than SSD should pick up their game and make it out of tool grade or at least aluminum or brass! :-( ??

Installed hubs fine as soon as I used it to remove said scale hubs this product disintegrated, and was useless...not a durable product not I have to try and figure out another way.

This review does not reflect Amain.com. This is targeted at SSD for making a tool that can't take the torque needed to tighten their M6 SSD hubs. I got the hub 50% tight and went to tighten the rest of the way as the nut bit into nylon and the tool just shattered like glass. It needs to be made out of aluminum or brass. Brass would be better.

Broke in the first use. Looks to be made out of plastic. Looks like they are now being made out of aluminum. Hopefully the ones from Amain will be aluminum
