Upgrade the hubs Rc4wd. This is a known issue. Can’t even drive it because the aluminum ones are not in stock and will guarantee break them again by how easy it broke, driving it out of the box.. don’t call it a rock racer .. if you can’t even drive it in low without breaking something.
makes me want the h10 instead. Thought this would have been better made.. not satisfied at all with this at all. The whole design screams China …
Nowhere on the car's web page does it say what the battery pack dimensions are only to get a 2S/3S LiPo battery. It doesn't even mention anything about hard or soft pack. The hard pack battery I bought doesn't fit and can't return it due to hazardous shipping. Digging through the owner's manual one can find that the battery box dimensions are 115(l)x33(w)x44(h)mm - beware and get a battery with the correct dimensions. It would have been great to know this at time of ordering.
The owner's manual is vague at best! There are a lot of operating details that appear to be left out or are for you to figure out. Many parts are confusing at best. The section on "Program the ESC with the SET Button" doesn't indicate where the set button is and the flowchart is complicated "Binding the Transmitter and Receiver" are confusing. However, the exploded diagrams are great.
I haven't been able to run it - still waiting for the correct battery. So, we'll see how good/bad it runs and it's durability.
Two thumbs up Rc4wd you hit another homer
