RC4WD 1/18 Black Rock Body Basic LED Lighting System

Dope addition to my 1/18 Gelande D90!!! This definitely completes the scale look for these little micro crawlers. I think it's a little silly that after spending $220 on the rig itself they sneakily charge another $12 for lighting accessories, C'MON MAN these trucks should just come with the light kits already installed. OK so my main gripe isn't that these should come with the trucks, it's that the yellow lights don't reach. I got everything else working fine but the yellow lights are like 1/2" too short! Aside from that the body and chassis is designed so flush that it's very tricky to get the wires stuffed up and in to get the body to actually install back on properly. I found this a challenge with this vehicle even before adding more wires for lighting. I dicked around with getting these wires to fit for close to an hour before I got them stuffed up and could get the body on. I'm not sure I could do it again so I'm hoping I never have to remove the body. I'm a little bummed I can see the yellow lights that wouldn't reach...I tried to hide them in the dashboard but I can still see the glow through the cracks in the vehicle, that right there kills the scale experience a little bit. All in all, this is a must if you own this vehicle because it looks so much better with lights but have fun putting them on BAHAHAHA.
