Hobbywing FlyFun 110A HV V5 Brushless ESC (SBEC)
This is a lot of ESC for the price. I have two of them now. One of them is on a 71" 3d aerobat running 12S. The other is on an 86" Stinson Reliant which is also 12S. Both are around 2500 watts. I purchased the programmer which works well and makes setup extremely easy. The BEC works well and the ESC comes with a capacitor to plug into your reciever to dampen power fluctuations from large digital servos. I wish the BEC was higher rated, but so far mine has given me no trouble.

Hobbywing FlyFun 110A HV V5 Brushless ESC (SBEC)
I purchased this esc based on recommends off the forums. Nothing I had laying around my shop could power a 12S edf unit. Have some pretty good brand name units that were not compatible with my setup. Have done business for years with Amain and their name came up quick when I googled the brand I was interested in. I've had 8 flights with the flyfun 110 and it has worked flawless to this point. After a 5:00 spirited run in a sport jet, esc/motor/lipo temps were as low as I have ever measured on my edfs. I was pushing 85 amps on most applications of full power. 100-120F Capable of handleing 14S is a bonus as well.

Hobbywing FlyFun 110A HV V5 Brushless ESC (SBEC)
I only used the ESC a couple of weeks. I had to buy the programming box to setup the ESC correctly. It was expected. The reason I chose this particular ESC is 1. it can handle up to 14 cells, 2. it has a powerful BEC and 3. the price for this package is very competitive. No problem soldering the connectors to the leads, no problem programming the ESC and it performs to my full satisfaction so far.
