E-flite Carbon-Z T-28 Trojan - Giant Scale Electric Warbird

The E-flite Carbon-Z T-28 Trojan 2.0m Bind-N-Fly Electric Airplane is an upgraded version of the original E-flite. This version comes with Smart electronics to give you more data while you fly. Featuring functional flaps plus more durable and reliable retracts, it's the perfect first "giant scale" warbird for a wide variety of pilots.

Exclusive Carbon-Z construction allows a foam airplane as large as this to be rigid like a conventional all-wood airframe, yet lightweight so it can have unmatched handling and flight performance. Numerous scale details include a cockpit with a simulated instrument panel and pilot figure, a cowl fitted with a replica radial engine, and other surface details. Now equipped with LED lights, this model allows you to take the adventure further, and later, than ever before!

  • Easy to take off, fly and land, making it a perfect first giant-scale or everyday fun-to-fly warbird model for a variety of pilots
  • Convenient top hatch and battery compartment to fit 6S 3200–7000mAh batteries for a wide range of performance and flight time options
  • 70-amp Spektrum Avian Smart Lite ESC provides real-time battery voltage, current, RPM, and other data via compatible receivers and transmitters
  • Seven factory-installed metal-geared servos and linkages for precise and reliable control
  • Easy to install/remove two-piece wing and stabs for convenient storage and transport

E-flite Carbon-Z T-28 Trojan 2.0m BNF Basic Electric Airplane (1980mm)
I have had two of these T-28s and really love them. I crashed the first one because I got a case of the super stupids and forgot to install the wing mount bolts. They do NOT fly well when the fuselage and wing part company in flight. They are very stable in flight, especially with the AS3X system that comes with the Spektrum receiver included in the BNF version. They will slow down to almost walking speed with half flaps and will actually hover in a mild head wind. I added an instructor pilot in the back seat in the #2 version to help out the Ensign student in the front seat and hopefully will have no more crashes due to stupidity.
