ECX RC Ruckus "Limited Edition" 1/10 Monster Truck RTR w/Spektrum 2.4GHz Radio (Green)
This is a fantastic starter truck for those looking to get into the hobby. My 4 year old and I have bashed and smashed it into trees and other solid obstacles with no broken parts, minus the shell, after 8 months of use. for the price, this is by far the best buy on the market.

ECX RC Ruckus "Limited Edition" 1/10 Monster Truck RTR w/Spektrum 2.4GHz Radio (Green)
This is a great truck for someone getting into the hobby, especially with the included Spektrum radio. Out of the box it's nearly impossible to damage. It can be upgraded as you gain experience. Two things I've done so far: swapped out the slow/weak servo for a Traxxas 2075 that I had around to help steering response and fitted the front bumper from the Torment (direct bolt on). With my 4 yr old daughter at the controls it has hit many trees and fence posts head on and nothing has been damaged so far.

Not sure if this thing is worth throwing a lot of money at for upgrades - that kind of defeats the purpose of it. But if you want, it can be done. Once my daughter gets a little more experience I may throw in a 15T motor or possibly repurpose my Titan 12T/XL5 setup in it.

Bottom line is that I don't think you can do better for a 1/10 truck at this price.

ECX RC Ruckus "Limited Edition" 1/10 Monster Truck RTR w/Spektrum 2.4GHz Radio (Green)
ok first of all alex, this truck is ANYTHING but crap. i own this truck and the circuit, they're the SAME as traxxas stampede and rustler, the parts are a direct fit too. i upgraded mine to brushlesss and it was very very very fast. SO I RECCOMEND THIS TO ANYBODY THATS LOOKING TO GET INTO RC OR IS LOOKING FOR A CHEAP TRUCK. you WILL NOT be dissapointed.

ECX RC Ruckus "Limited Edition" 1/10 Monster Truck RTR w/Spektrum 2.4GHz Radio (Green)
Click the reviews for the orange ruckus to see my updated review. It sounds like alot of ppl writing reviews are getting paid by traxxas, this is a solid buy. At this price you should not expect it to go 100mph and never ever break. It is most certainly not the same junk that you get at the walmart. There are certainly better trucks out there, but not at this price. I have been nothing but impressed with this truck since I got it.

I bought this truck for my son, who is 4, for Christmas. He graduated from a Losi Mini-T. Regardless of what the other anti opinions are, it's really a GREAT little truck. The parts are MUCH MUCH better quality than any WallyWorld toy. Make no mistake, this is an introductory hobby truck. The parts are flexible, strong, and a make a perfect bashing truck or first true hobby grade for a beginner. Takes all sizes of hard and soft pack Lipos, and the speed control has a built in Lipo cut off!

Not the best radio, not the best tires, but it's so much more than the hater reviews make it out to be. In any case, it's NOT MEANT TO BE A $500 TRUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I wouldn't campaign it for any sort of racing, but for simply having fun, it can't be beat!

This truck sucks!!!!!!!!!!!!! Whoever said I would rather get a traxxas stampede is right. This truck is of walmart quality, and is over priced. Its worth about $50. All parts remind me of the walmart rc cars. If your new, get a durible car like the stampede, not this piece of crap.
