Now on to the vehicle. As with most HPI Flux systems this thing runs great! It's pretty fast on 2s. It's more of a track and street basher. Durability hasn't been an issue and everything is holding up well. Radio and electronics are trouble free and work very well.
Tip: change the servo to a Protek 100ss and thank me later!
Performance is good however the truck doesn't have the adjustability (ie camber, caster, or wheelbase) compared to other ST trucks. You can move the whole center electronics portion forward 2 holes to improve weight bias. Tires are general purpose softish compound and will wear semi-quickly on pavement.
Lastly, the thing that bothers me the most (design flaw) is the fact you have to remove the right rear inner camber link screw to fully remove the gear cover. Not a huge issue, but for maintenance its one extra thing to have to deal with. You can tell HPI designed this vehicle with certain $$$ budget in mind.
Overall I'm happy with the purchase and have been a fan of HPI for a long time. Glad I purchased it and I'm having fun with the vehicle! ??
I moved the electronics all the way forward and made it much more stable. Stock TX is decent and battery swaps are a breeze with the underside battery access.
Good basher and takes a beating.
