Deans Wet Noodle Wire (Red/Black) (3') (12AWG)
WS Deans Wet Noodle 12 gauge wire is the only wire that I use on all of my Tamiya Clod Buster and Bull Head trucks. It is, hands down, the best R/C motor wiring out there and I have been using it for over twenty years now on all of my project monster trucks without any complaints or problems. Because the front and rear motors on Clod Busters and Bull Heads are both mounted on the axles/gearcases, the wire connected to them must be extremely flexible due to the motors moving vertically with the axle assemblies as the suspension is compressed and extended. That is especially true with modified Clod Busters and Bull Heads due to the large amount of suspension travel with them compared to the stock Tamiya trucks. I have never had WS Deans Wet Noodle wire break due to it flexing repeatedly, including on my ESP Clodzilla IV truck with its extremely large amount of suspension travel. There is no wire available on the R/C market that is more flexible than Wet Noodle.

I have never had any problems with using Wet Noodle wire and I use it every time that I need to connect motors to an electronic speed controller on my trucks. Also, to ensure a complete low resistance electrical path, I always use WS Deans Ultra Plugs on both my motors and batteries. I insist on only using the real Ultra Plugs too for all of my electrical connections and not copies or generic "T-plugs." There are no replacements for the real Ultra Plugs.

R/C electrical wire is critical to a good performing vehicle, yet it is all too often overlooked when building a new car or truck kit or when modifying an existing one. My advice is to just get WS Deans Wet Noodle wire from the start so you won't have to think about R/C wiring again. It is the best wire, hands down.
