Servo Overview:
The Yokomo SP-02D V2 RWD Digital Low Profile Drift Servo has the optimum specifications for RWD drift. The SP-02D can also be tuned with a program function that can be used to change the operating characteristics. By further rewriting the numerical values with the optional YOKSP-03DPC programmer (not included), the servo can be adjusted to suit drivers of all levels. As for basic performance, it is a product that realizes overwhelming performance at low cost. An aluminum center case allows efficient heat dissipation, while the coreless motor provides high response. Combine this with a titanium/aluminum gear set and you have the recipe for a drift servo with outstanding durability and performance.

1. Low Profile - The low profile means it will fit in almost any 1/10th scale drift configuration one might need. I use it in a MST RMX and a Reve D RDX chassis and it leaves me room to run wires and linkage easily.
2. Slow and Steady - The SP-02D has a slow and steady movement with a nice feature that helps smooth out chatter and jitter in your steering, allowing for 100% gyro in some situations if you wish. It creates a much more stable drift especially in deep slides for beginners and for experts alike.
3. It's Programmable - If you like to tweak everything, being able to change the level of de-chatter/jitter and adjust other settings is super nice. I found that once I made a few minor changes, it fit the rig it was installed in and my driving style just right.
Other notable things that make it super nice... It comes in several colors, for those of us who like color in our rigs. They offer black, red and purple, so you can pair it with a sweet ESC/Motor and Gyro combo that all match. Works perfectly out of the box for many situations so the programmer is only optional. I've yet to break one even with 100% gain on the Yokomo DP302 v4. And, the price is good, especially if you compare it to similarly sized and capable drift servos.
There are other options, but I don't hesitate to pick one of these up each time I need a servo for drifting.
