New to competitive class onroad and this is a great way to get into the fast class.
* rear toe was -6/-5 degrees left and right side. The little
Pin heads were all the same except for one (manual has 8x pieces all identical F&R). I got a toe control kit and got it to racing alignment spec.
Update 10/22
* biggest issue is motor mount. gear options are very limited due to MM adjustments and clearance for upper deck supports. smallest Spur for 48P was 80T with a 31T pinion (removed 1x bolt for the support mount or it will grind). currently going with a 45t 64p pinion with a 100t spur to help speed.
Only ran into one issue, main shaft that holds the spur and belt drive gears was .004” over what it should be to fit in a 5x8 bearing but a little drill and few different grit sandpapers fixed it… shocks suck(can’t expect much out of a rookie kit) diff gaskets are very brittle(be careful) overall would recommend to someone new to kits and wants to get into on road. Or someone that wants something cheap that’s still a lot to bash around parking lots… this will absolutely not come close to handling like the mtc or comparable kit but it’s fun simple to assemble and fairly good as far as component quality
