Yeah Racing Aluminum Clamping Servo Horn (Blue) (25T)
I had purchased this servo horn to replace the former servo saver in my Yeah Racing converted RWD TT-02 drift car. While I had thought to use a few different brands, I ultimately went with this one simply because everything else on the car was Yeah Racing “light blue”.

Pros:
Being that this is made by the same company that also made the RWD conversion kit for my car, the finish matches the blue hue I’ve grown accustomed to seeing. The hole spacing is pretty close to what Tamiya spec for cars like the TA07, TB-Evo and others so I knew it would work for my needs. The cars steering geometry was kept in tact and the horn didn’t bind on the chassis.

Cons:
Unfortunately, while I did get it to work and fit on my servo, be advised that the servo horn can fit a bit snug on the snout of your servo. I have not measured the snout of my servo but this horn DID require a little prying to “open up” the horn enough to slide it onto my servo. Make sure you go slow and remember to loosen or remove the set screw before you attempt to fit the horn onto the servo snout. It may not sit all the way onto the snout so you may need to use the provided M3 screw to “press” the horn onto the snout. Again, go slow and take your time. Use grease if you think you’ll need it as it may help to get the snout on.

All in all, it was what I needed to fix the rather annoying steering issue I was struggling with while using the previous Yeah Racing servo saver. Everyone knows TT-02’s have rather sloppy handling to begin with but with this servo horn, I can be a little more confident that the car will go where I want it to and hopefully will not fight me the way the old servo saver did.

The reason for only 4-stars instead of 5 is because of how tight the horn can be to fit. No two Futaba and Futaba-styled servos are the same but all do have 25 splines which makes fitting something like this frustrating if you’re not prepared. I was and even I had issues. It may be because of the anodizing treatment or something else but while it may not have fit my 25T servo, that’s not to say it won’t fit yours. Your mileage WILL vary!
