Yeah Racing 4mm & 5mm Bullet Angled Connector Set

I picked up a couple sets of these to try when I saw them a few months ago as Im over a dozen
Vehicles now that are all wired for and use Protek and Maclan batteries that have the 5mm bullet plugs. I liked the idea of being able to pull the plugs out without having the pull on the wire, and these connectors pretty much accomplish that in several of my vehicles. There are still a couple where there isnt enough room to grab both plugs (Tekno EB410.2, ET410.2) and on a couple of my 1/10 buggies (TLR22x4) one or both the clips are tall enough that they hit the body when using standard size 6000mah shorties, so they arent a perfect solution, but I have them installed on 5 or 6 of my vehicles so far with good results. I would be nice if they made one of the plastic housings red, but I typically wire my vehicles so its not possible to plug the batteries in backwards anyway. Overall Im happy with the parts and will buy more as needed unless something better becomes available.

Fit perfect, soldered easily. Caps are polarity is clearly marked , included orings seal the deal. Put the orings on the posts last!

Pros: Works as advertised.

Cons: None at the moment

Recommendation: I figured this out later but the red and black o-rings should be placed on your wire leads prior to soldering them in place. I also highly recommend not soldering your leads at and angle on the tabs because you won't be able to seat the o-rings correctly. You will thank me later.

Not cheap for just some cable ends but they work well, They solder on very solidly and the build quality is excellent. Super easy to grip.

Note: I did not use these on a car I used them on custom made charging cables, I think they are just to heavy for a car.

Honestly a great idea, very elegant, and easy to pull. My downfall with them, was cutting out in two vehicles during mains. Changed back to normal bullets, no connection issues. I would not recommend for racing. Yeah Racing everything else, just skip these.
