First everyone has good bad luck but let me break down how to use your shafts..
Times when they break.. Throttle open when landing. Major air time 6 + lbs hitting concrete. Running locked slipper or not set up right on a large rig. Angle of attack to the axles are not inline but at a 30+ degree angle. (Axles have some angling that can be done to align the shaft with the transmission.) (Also use axle stop straps) Your drive shaft is reversed the splines should come from the transmission where as the meat part of the shaft should be hitting rocks and the ground etc. Just saying.. Oh also it helps to bag the cv joins and even the inlet to the splines.. Little rocks can cause breakage.(Thin animal balloons work.)

This said these are beefy and hold up to a lot of power pumped through them in both Rock Bouncing and Rock Racing. For crawling these should last a very long time following cleaning inspections etc.

Pros.. Major meat.. I mean meet.. Not what is in the image either. The shaft spline is now solid to the joint. The CV barrel is steel not brass. Looks like stainless to me and that means easy temper in both worlds hard and springy.

Cons..
E clip pin spinning at high rpm lil rocks hitting it etc etc.. 1 in a million that e-clip will disappear and the pin will come out.
Still a little thin on the joints but in all id rather the shaft break than the transmission gears.

The tiny C clip came out at the U-joint. Not sure where to source a new one. Found a nut and bolt that did the trick and luckily there’s clearance there. If this happens near the transmission though I’m screwed. This is installed on an SCX10 1, with Capra axles and Vaterra Ascender suspension.

Center shaft came disconnected after 10minutes of driving, very disappointed. Seems to have a m3 screw securing the center shaft to the joint that came unscrewed.
