About the X12 2025
One-Piece Chassis
This one-piece chassis design delivers consistent handling across all track conditions, integrating seamlessly with the front Tweak-Free Suspension and rear Tweak-Free POD System for peak performance. The beveled edges of the chassis plate minimize drag during cornering, enhancing both handling and efficiency. Precision CNC-machined from 2.0mm Swiss 7075 T6 aluminum, the chassis also features specialized cut-outs for optimal flex characteristics, ensuring a balanced, responsive ride every time.
Rear POD & Bulkheads
This 2-piece rear pod design, positioned above a one-piece chassis plate, enhances stability, traction, and adjustability with features that fine-tune handling and control. The pod plate manages droop settings, pod angle adjustments, and side spring support, while the rear spring position improves forward traction and lowers the center of gravity. A versatile composite spring adjustment nut supports both linear and conical springs, and the pod angle can be precisely set via a rear screw. The assembly includes lightweight aluminum bulkheads and carbon fiber pod plates for a stable, tweak-resistant setup; composite bushings reduce weight and maintain alignment after impacts. The bulkheads, designed to lower the CG, also feature a cooling fan mount, while compact eccentric bushings allow exact ride height adjustments. Completing the design, a thin carbon fiber rear brace reduces weight, controls pod flex, and mounts with a single point to resist tweak.
Suspension
The innovative rear POD spring replaces the traditional center shock spring, enhancing forward traction, expanding tuning options, and lowering the center of gravity. Compatible with both conical/progressive and straight/linear springs, the spring holder offers flexible setup choices, and the included soft rear conical/progressive spring provides a balanced setup for solid axle configurations. The reimagined center shock delivers exceptional bump handling with minimal maintenance, featuring a spring-free design that significantly reduces weight and lowers the CG. A hard-anodized aluminum shock body ensures durability, while a silicone O-ring prevents oil leakage for smooth, reliable operation. The finely finished shock shaft and precision-molded composite piston optimize oil flow, delivering consistent shock action.
