XGuard RC V2 Backplate Governor RPM Sensor. This self-calibrating sensor offers a convenient alternative to using a fixed trigger governor setup. The XGuard self-calibrating backplate RPM sensor with static discharge protection and sensor power buffering is the most advanced Back Plate RPM Sensor to date. This sensor instead of having a fixed trigger point that might work or not with your particular engine, works by sensing the magnetic field variation of the first pulses and calibrates itself to the ideal magnetic field trigger point for that particular engine. It measures the max and min magnetic field via an amplified hall-effect sensor and calculates the ideal trigger point for that particular range your engine presents to the sensor. This effectively self-calibrates the sensor to work optimally in your engine. This even works well with YS engines that use steel backplates.
