Traxxas X-Maxx 8S 4WD Brushless RTR Monster Truck (Red)
What a BEAST of a truck, thanks to AMAIN and Affirm who made this truck more affordable by financing. I only had the truck for a few days now, its a monster compared to my Slash 4x4 VXL. It really calls everyones attention on every park lol.
Like they say "If you didnt break it, it wasnt fun enough". I did break a lower arm and steering knuckle, but its being take cared of by Traxxas. I do recommend this truck to anyone looking for a huge RC Truck.

Traxxas X-Maxx 8S 4WD Brushless RTR Monster Truck (Red)
This was my first purchase from Amain and my first Traxxas product. Was on fence between Cen Colossus, Losi DBXLe, and this. Saw it at a discount in scratch and dent section so I jumped at it. However, disappointed that shipping fee was $35 even with super saver discount when other other competitor sites offer free shipping or a lot less. Interestingly, shipping was much less at $18 if I were to get it at the regular price with Amain. Took over a week to get it and found out it was missing the instruction manual and tools even though description said it was new and complete. Amain was nice enough to remedy the issue which was much appreciated.

Overall, truck is everything I expected. Looks bigger in person and nice and plush with jumps. It's fast but not out-of-control fast. It's rather clumsy around sharp turns and tends to flip on side due to higher center of gravity and speed. Just looks really aggressive and fun to drive. I hope the ESC holds up as this is the major weak point per what I have seen.

Also make sure your 4s batteries fit the compartment dimensions. My 7200mAh from Powerhobby were too big for the plastic hold-down locking part. I have to use velcro straps between the nerf side bars and chassis. Holds the batteries down like a charm.

I only have two cars, this and the Arrma Kraton which is able to take an extreme beating without breaking. My expectations are high on the Xmaxx. So far, so good.

I would buy from Amain again and recommend this truck to anyone who can afford it.

Great truck, but the esc has its problems. Recommend upgrading esc as soon as it gives you problems.

Traxxas X-Maxx 8S 4WD Brushless RTR Monster Truck (Red)
I love it! Everything is laid out well so it's super easy to work on, which I have only broken an A arm after one of many hard landings! Definitely not cheap, but if you can cut the check you won't be disappointed. My only complaint is that the servo saver is a little bit soft.

Traxxas X-Maxx 8S 4WD Brushless RTR Monster Truck (Red)
This truck is a monster! The power is off the hook, I mean it does wheelies in reverse! The 8S X-Maxx runs tighter than a 2 day clock! I have run the batteries 10 times and no problems, just a ton of fun! This thing is built strong! My whole family wants their own to play with now! If I want to play, I guess I will have to buy a couple more... LOL
