Truck is Great! All the right stuff but ordered accessories to make it just a little better and realistic. It may end up a little heavier but still perform great. These trucks are so realistic when making jumps.
Great pro scale well built model. This is not a toy its very reliable and takes skill to maneuver. It will crash and roll over if you operate the model like a normal truck or other traxxas models. Its very fast and has the ability to tackle any kind of terrain surface. On pavement its very tippy and catches and flips over very easily if you do not get on the throttle and swing the rear end around like a desert racer truck woukd do. Its fun and good on battery wether you run 4s to 6s its just as good on 4s.

This truck is amazing and goes into every detail for the scale look, but if your planning on getting one its well worth it but its built for SCALE driving and not built for big jumps on the track unlike buggies which are made for it. Don't get me wrong this thing can take one hell of a beating and for sure go on the track but when jumping, because of it's weight and the way its built is has a tendency to roll over if you land the wrong way really easily and has a tendency to nose dive or slap the back end on big jumps on landings which is what its not made to do but it sure is capable. Then one last thing to consider is that sometimes you'll hit a little dip or turn to fast and expect to roll over maybe once or flip in the air, but with this truck you end up doing barrel roll after barrel roll or endowing over and over several times which is exciting to watch, so expect to flip, roll, or endow more times than usual on the smallest accidents, but don't worry as long as you weren't hauling ass while you flipped the truck will be fine even though the crash will not make it look fine. Overall this truck is great and is made for a person who likes to drive Scale and have that scale experience with the wight of the truck. (BTW: this truck only takes long and skinny traxxas connector capable 2&3 cell lipos, no short and fat lipos because you can't stack the short and fat ones together only the long and skinny ones can stack nicely and fit into the battery compartment. And if you know how to handle two 3 cells, get it because its much more fun with two 3 cells than two 2-cells but if your just starting out i recommend two 2 cells so you have a less likely chance of crashing your vehicle.)
This truck is amazing! I just got back in to hobby and this UDR is the bomb. I already upgraded a few small things like wheel hubs and rear lower arms. Took it out a couple times so far and had a blast. I recommend this truck to anyone that likes scale and performance.

This Traxxas UDR is great fun. I spent a whole day out in the park on different surfaces and some natural grass ramps to launch the UDR a few times. It takes some practice and skill to get the hang of it but after a few hours I got it. It loves the sand and rough terrain and the suspension takes it all. Next year this time I will be Vitavoning it. I cant wait.
However, I did do some soldering to change the traxxas connectors to IC5 so I can use my SPektrum batteries.
So have had the UDR since September 23 and have had no issues at all bashed about 8 packs before I decided to pull the trigger on going full Vitavon I’ve done all the basics for upkeep on this metal planatery gears have gone through about 3 sets of tires since I do both on and off road with this truck I can’t and don’t have any complaints about this truck it’s plenty of fun
The best looking rc truck ever created. The detail is epic and with a little time and work those details can be detailed to add to the realistic features on the truck. The aftermarket has plenty of bits and pieces to further the realism.
This truck is definitely not a basher nor track vehicle , but can make a few laps around the track and look good doing it . It performs well in loose dirt and rough terrain. Corners on a tight technical course is not it’s strong suit, but does well on sweeping corners.
This truck is definitely an enthusiast dream , as it handles and drives like a real truck . Seeing the body roll , suspension working and dirt flying all match the realistic look of this truck. The chase light and functional brake light is an awesome touch.
What an awesome kit. I've been upgrading as parts begin to wear, but overall, right out of the box, this thing can haul. It is a great addition to any fleet.
Awesome truck on 6s! Only complaint the lights don’t work, go figure. Warranty hear I come.
This has got to be the best-scale Baja truck ever. My favorite truck to this date. Tons of power and great handling. The body does take a pounding so not too bad. It rips!

It is almost a 1:1 replica of a Unlimited class trophy truck, it is a masterpiece of engineering and everything works together so amazingly its wild.
•Dual shock package front and rear, Full AWD system with IFS and Trailing arms, so much power even on the 2s lipos!

Really nice truck, drives and looks great. Not a basher so if you like some challenging scale driving this is it. I save the bashing for the xmaxx. Never have an issue with amainhobbies, they sell great products and I always receive them promptly.
The UDR been around for a while, so you don’t need me to tell you the truck is freaking amazing. I will say this though, I ordered this on a Saturday night and it arrived on a Thursday the following week. Awsome
This truck is fantastic. The videos on YouTube comparing it to the Mojave etc are fun, but this truck really isn’t a “basher”.
If you want a scale truck - solid rear axle - long trailing arms - realistic action etc, then you should grab this truck!
This thing REALLY utilizes the locked rear axle to maintain traction during fast acceleration.
If you just want a fun larger scale short course style truck to rip around with and ramp etc then I’d point you towards the Mojave. But for scale realism and tons of power out of the box, this is a fantastic truck!
I loved this truck so much I bought another one. If you want the ultimate in scale realism of a desert racing Trophy truck this is the one. I also own a Mojave, which is a total blast, but the UDR behaves and looks just like a real truck. The electronics are actually really great from the go. The steering servo is fine, and all my stock gear is still running strong for over two years now. There are a few things to upgrade over time as they wear out, but all-in-all, the UDR is hands down my favorite truck.
nothing is perfect in this world but this truck is awesome and one of a kind RC race truck.
This truck is bad-to-the-bone. It's an extreme rc and easily one of the most scale rides ever made. On 6s it's got the Devil in it.
