The Traxxas Slash 4X4 "Ultimate" RTR 4WD Short Course Truck is fully loaded out of the box. The Slash Ultimate features brutal Velineon brushless power and Traxxas Stability Management (TSM) with a high-speed metal gear servo. Carve corners like a pro thanks to the low-CG chassis, installed sway bars, and ultra-smooth blue PTFE-coated aluminum GTR shocks. Slash 4X4 Ultimate packs a full complement of aluminum hop-up parts and performance accessories for added strength and show-stopping looks. Slash 4X4 Ultimate arrives fully assembled with factory-installed telemetry sensors and a Wireless Link equipped TQi 2.4GHz radio system. Simply add the battery of your choice (sold separately) and you’re ready for intense tire-scorching action.

Great truck. Very impressed with the durability and the included Bluetooth feature on the radio that sends telemetry to your cell phone. I've ran 2 dozen 5200 3s packs and have only broken 1 part. A front shock shaft snapped on me after I blew a corner and smacked apole at full speed. My fault not the trucks. I do suggest adding lunsford hinge pins as the stock pins tend to loosen and back out after 20 minutes of running.

This is the bells and whistles model Slash 4x4 and it really shows. It has a bunch of good aluminum parts, telemetry, and bluetooth link with an app. Overall a very premium package. Just don't go thinking you wont break it lol! After all it's a part of the fun to fix it with more and more aluminum! Highly recommend this model to save you some money in the long run!

This is probably the best Traxxas truck you can buy. All the improvements are amazing. The arms and driveshafts are super tough. Lcg chassis handles well and I really like the dark grey, also the new blue shocks are extremely good quality. Traxxas slash bodies are not the most durable but this one is even worse. After 3 runs already major cracking in the rear and that’s with reinforcement applied before driving. Also the rear bumper/hinge pin holder split. On top of that the soft tires became deflated after three runs, surely the foams were torn up which is surprising considering I only run 2s lipo. Aside from the durability of the body and tires this truck is pretty perfect and I’d highly recommend it.

Awesome truck. Good for a beginner, durable fast, and fun. I like how you can adjust the esc to a "training mode" gives it 50% power. After knowing that, I bought my 6 year old one so he can stay out of my hair on wanting to use mine lol. I run his on training mode and with a 2s battery and he's already getting the hang of it pretty good and having a blast with it! We only had them for about a week

Amazing Truck! I have had all brands and all kinds over 30 years. Its fast! I had to use the awesome app to tone it down to 75% for my son. Its durable! Most cost effective way to get back into it with my 9yo. Rear axle did break at pin but I may have overtightened the nut and took a direct hit from another car. Its done full speed summersaults into concrete wall and keeps going. lol. I would double check ALL gear meshes as well.

Hands down impeccable service... thanks guys and gals!

That said, the Traxxas "Slash Ultimate" is a diamond in the rough. Stock, out of box, this thing rips. It's tough, fast, and superb. I have another Slash "Fox Edition" and it broke CONSTANTLY. I've had to upgrade everything to the Ultimate version, I.e., Stage 3 additions, and it's WAY better, however, the cost and time spent has been fun but also, trying. Nothing sucks as much as going to the track and not getting a full lap in before something blows up.

I've put the Slash Ultimate through several batteries and it's holding up amazingly well. I'm stoked to get it running faster, and am planning on getting the battery extender for a 6400mAh 3s fatty, installing an LCG chassis brace, and higher pinion gear, otherwise, this thing is well worth the extra cash flow.

It's FAR cheaper to buy the stock upgraded Slash versus doing the Stage 3 upgrades oneself, so do yourselves a favor and buy this kit instead. And of course, buy from the best and go through amain!
