Rustler 4X4 VXL
The Stadium Truck Redefined!

The Rustler 4X4 VXL is a hard-charging wheelie machine that captures the speed and classic style of the number-one-selling Rustler and injects it with brutal 4-wheel drive performance, increased durability, and even more fun! Bury the throttle and the Rustler 4X4 launches its front wheels skyward as it shreds the ground underneath.

Beneath the sleek clipless body, the heavy duty driveline delivers extreme Velineon brushless horsepower. The larger Talon EXT wheels and tires provide versatility and grip for any terrain, from backyard trails to concrete skate parks. Rustler 4X4 VXL destroys convention to become the new performance and fun standard for 4x4 stadium trucks!

Updated Chassis
The low-CG chassis positions the weight low for aggressive handling. The wheelbase has been lengthened 20mm for the perfect balance of stability and quick response. Brushless Velineon power flows through a larger Revo®-Spec slipper clutch and new extreme heavy-duty driveshafts to ensure performance and strength.

Self-Righting
The Rustler 4X4 VXL uses Traxxas’ patented Self-Righting feature to keep the fun going, even when you get carried away with the wheelies or land that big trick upside down. Simply press a button on the TQi transmitter and, in most circumstances, the Rustler 4X4 VXL will be back on its wheels in just seconds and ready for more action!

Clipless Body Mounting
Similar to the flagship E-Revo, the Rustler 4X4 VXL uses a clipless body latching system for secure mounting and fast, one-handed removal and installation. The sleek, aerodynamic body features a rugged internal structure and external rollover protection for long life and Traxxas-Tough™ durability.

Traxxas Rustler 4X4 VXL Brushless RTR 1/10 4WD Stadium Truck (Pink)
Being a fan of purple, I had to go with the pink and purple body for the Rustler 4x4 VXL and certainly don't regret it. As far as the car goes, it has had nothing to fault it on that I have been able to find and being a relative newbie jumping straight to 3S, you know it's been taking a beating! After a few weeks with it bashing around with friends and my son, I am finally performing my first mod that I feel it needs (at least in our climate), and that is a heat-sink/fan combo for the motor. It has been getting very hot after a long duration of hard field and natural terrain jumping in 80-90 degree weather.

Overall, the car is awesome and I haven't broken it yet. Sadly the body has taken some damage from failed slips, cart wheels, barrel rolls, and the occasional collision with immovable object. That said, it has actually held up very well and is not in bad enough shape to warrant replacing yet really.

I highly recommend this car (in any color you want) to help satisfy a potential mid-life crisis itch without blowing your savings on a real sports car that would kill you if you attempted even a fraction of what this RC car and do!

Traxxas Rustler 4X4 VXL Brushless RTR 1/10 4WD Stadium Truck (Pink)
REALLY fast and very rugged. Good value for the dollar. Excellent RC car for general use for someone with a moderate amount of experience. When tuned for less performance it is also good for beginners, but has a lot of room to grow as your talents grow. Nearly as fast as the quickest Traxxas trucks, but much less expensive.

Traxxas Rustler 4X4 VXL Brushless RTR 1/10 4WD Stadium Truck (Pink)
The purchase through AMain was easy and I received the product in a few days. Based on my research, this should be a great starter rc car for my little girl. I think Christmas morning will be a hit.

Traxxas Rustler 4X4 VXL Brushless RTR 1/10 4WD Stadium Truck (Pink)
Got the package and opened it, plugged in the lipo and the truck steers but no fwd or reverse. After switching out the tx/rx 4 times I realized it was an ESC problem but Traxxas kept telling me it was the rx after speaking to another tech he finally agreed and now the ESC is on it's way in for repairs. I haven't even got to drive it yet and I'm already spending money on it?
