The Traxxas Maxx 1/10 Brushless RTR 4WD Monster Truck with WideMaxx Kit is the next level in ultimate basher chassis. This special chassis comes equipped with the WideMaxx suspension kit from the factory for greater stability.

Traxxas has totally revamped the Maxx chassis for this release. Starting on the four corners, Traxxas equipped this truck with the Sledgehammer tires. These tires feature an open-block design that clears away mud allowing for unreal traction. Moving to the suspension, Traxxas then equipped the truck with the WideMaxx suspension set. This extends the width over 1.5 inches improving stability. To further add to the stability, a longer chassis is used allowing allowing the use of larger and more powerful batteries. All of these features come together to make the Traxxas Maxx an extremely durable and stable chassis. With six colors to choose from, the Traxxas Maxx with WideMaxx will be able to exceed expectation.

Traxxas Maxx WideMaxx 1/10 Brushless RTR 4WD Monster Truck (Orange)
I can't speak to the differences between this and the original Maxx because I've never ran the original, but this thing rips! I received it and immediately put the tools to it to check it over. To my surprise all the screws were tight and ready to rock. At this point and time I have about a dozen 6500mah 4s battery loads ran through it with no issues, and I send this thing flying with a lot of the landings not being on the wheels. This truck is fast, tough and a lot of fun, I find myself grabbing this over my X-Maxx a lot of the times when I'm heading out to rip. Overall I'm very impressed and happy with this truck, the truck has only suffered one break due to a tree jumping out in front of it at full speed.

Traxxas Maxx WideMaxx 1/10 Brushless RTR 4WD Monster Truck (Orange)
I’ve been running this truck a lot lately. Been jumping it and doing some regular bashing. I haven’t broken it yet. Very well built. My wife is really hard on the truck and she can’t believe that it hasn’t broken. Great truck!

Traxxas Maxx WideMaxx 1/10 Brushless RTR 4WD Monster Truck (Orange)
I've have had many Traxxas since this company first started. I must say they improved a lot over the years just like this WideMaxx/V2. In fact, I was surprised how well this thing ran. Everything just right. A well balance R/C vehicle. A little pricey but you get what you pay for. If you are thinking about getting a basher or just a R/C truck, this is it. You won't be disappointed.

Traxxas Maxx WideMaxx 1/10 Brushless RTR 4WD Monster Truck (Orange)
I was driving my MAXX on wet asphalt with hardly any traction, on a cool day (wasn't hot outside), I didn't hit anything and I wasn't even going the top speed and my esc just did the 4 red blinking lights of death, so now I have to send my MAXX esc in to Traxxas and I have to probably pay for shipping like when I had a defective battery made by Traxxas, And guess what, I've only had my MAXX for 2 months! If this would've happened 1 month ago I would get a replacement ESC for free, BUT NOW I HAVE TO BUY ONE!!! DO NOT BUY ANY TRAXXAS ELECTRONICS!!! |:(

But their plastic is virtually indestructible ;)

Traxxas Maxx WideMaxx 1/10 Brushless RTR 4WD Monster Truck (Orange)
Little upset traxxas would release this for 20 bucks more then the original when most of us bought the original and spent another 200 bucks minimum to turn it into the widemaxx they should credit everyone that did that atleast the cost of the widemaxx kit

Traxxas Maxx WideMaxx 1/10 Brushless RTR 4WD Monster Truck (Orange)
I love this truck it needs upgrades but in the end it's all worth it I've got mine set up with castle mmx and the 1515 motor along with a genes ace 11000mah 4s lipo runs like a beast for over a hour you will have to do away with the stock Traxxas battery holder and use straps also do away with the servo when you take it out of the box it's not worth the price of the trash bag you have to put it in I put a agfrc 55kg(764)Oz torque it's been great so far. By far this has to be one of the toughest Traxxas trucks I've owned and I've had around 8 different so if your thinking about a monster truck I would highly recommend this one

Traxxas Maxx WideMaxx 1/10 Brushless RTR 4WD Monster Truck (Orange)
This truck is something else! It wheelies like crazy! It responds super quickly. It will perform better if you upgrade to the Pro-Line Trencher LP tires. It never breaks. It is a total Beast, much better than Arrma. It is great bang for your buck. Another great truck Traxxas! :)

Traxxas Maxx WideMaxx 1/10 Brushless RTR 4WD Monster Truck (Orange)
I didn't want to believe what I'd read about the ESC being total garbage in the new V2 Maxx, but mine started to turn off on the second ever pack ran in the truck. Not hard bashing at all either. I think it's still a great platform to built a killer, very durable monster truck. Just plan to get a Hobbywing Max8 ESC upon initial purchase amd you won't be bummed. My other option I was looking at was a Tekno MT410 build which would be much more money to get it right,,, than the Maxx with a new ESC.
