The Traxxas Maxx 1/10 Brushless RTR 4WD Monster Truck with WideMaxx Kit is the next level in ultimate basher chassis. This special chassis comes equipped with the WideMaxx suspension kit from the factory for greater stability.

Traxxas has totally revamped the Maxx chassis for this release. Starting on the four corners, Traxxas equipped this truck with the Sledgehammer tires. These tires feature an open-block design that clears away mud allowing for unreal traction. Moving to the suspension, Traxxas then equipped the truck with the WideMaxx suspension set. This extends the width over 1.5 inches improving stability. To further add to the stability, a longer chassis is used allowing the use of larger and more powerful batteries. All of these features come together to make the Traxxas Maxx an extremely durable and stable chassis. With six colors to choose from, the Traxxas Maxx with WideMaxx will be able to exceed expectations.

Traxxas Maxx WideMaxx 1/10 Brushless RTR 4WD Monster Truck (Green)
The updated Maxx is an incredible basher with a new boost in confidence. With it now being bigger (longer and wider) the truck is much more suited for aggressive, full-throttle driving styles. It still pops wheelies, but more on your terms. The truck is also only $20 more than the previous truck, which is nothing compared to all that you receive. Easily one of the most refined, polished and durable platforms the r/c world has ever seen.

Traxxas Maxx WideMaxx 1/10 Brushless RTR 4WD Monster Truck (Green)
Take this review with a grain of salt, because this is my first and only RC car (Soon to change). I could not be happier with my purchase, this thing rips and is seriously a tank. I haven’t been nice to it. Actually I’m a great testament to its strength, because I have 0 skill with RC cars but have been full sending it everywhere I go, which has led to many many wipeouts. NOTHING has broken, the body is looking rough but that’s to be expected. This truck is so damn fast it blows my mind. I only use it on 3s, haven’t even tried 4s. If you’re on the fence, get off the fence and buy this damn truck.

Traxxas Maxx WideMaxx 1/10 Brushless RTR 4WD Monster Truck (Green)
Great Basher It takes anything you throw at it. I sent it in the skate park nose dives landed upright all the bad stuff no breakage. Although the battery tray is terrible battery flew out almost every bash and that caused my lipo to blow. There are some good aftermarket battery trays you can get like extreme racing which helps.

Traxxas Maxx WideMaxx 1/10 Brushless RTR 4WD Monster Truck (Green)
This truck is something else! It wheelies like crazy! It responds super quickly. It will perform better if you upgrade to the Pro-Line Trencher LP tires. It never breaks. It is a total Beast, much better than Arrma. It is great bang for your buck. Another great truck Traxxas! :)

Traxxas Maxx WideMaxx 1/10 Brushless RTR 4WD Monster Truck (Green)
Truck came a day early and I was thrilled until I open the box and smell cat pee on the actual Traxxas box. As soon as I open the FedEx box that has the truck in it I realize that the boxes been open so I contacted amen as soon as I did as possible. They told me through their online chat that if there was any issue with the truck you know everything looks OK. Please contact them. I ran a track no less than 15 minutes in the ESC went out on it so I contacted a man and they did a warranty claim on the ESC. After a week and a half I received the ESC and the truck is running OK. During the conversation with technical support at aiminE I asked to see if I can get a full refund but I guess because of the way I pay for the truck it was impossible. Because of the support that I didn’t get or that I should’ve received I am not going to put my money in this company anymore.

Traxxas Maxx WideMaxx 1/10 Brushless RTR 4WD Monster Truck (Green)
I was driving my MAXX on wet asphalt with hardly any traction, on a cool day (wasn't hot outside), I didn't hit anything and I wasn't even going the top speed and my esc just did the 4 red blinking lights of death, so now I have to send my MAXX esc in to Traxxas and I have to probably pay for shipping like when I had a defective battery made by Traxxas, And guess what, I've only had my MAXX for 2 months! If this would've happened 1 month ago I would get a replacement ESC for free, BUT NOW I HAVE TO BUY ONE!!! DO NOT BUY ANY TRAXXAS ELECTRONICS!!! |:(

But their plastic is virtually indestructible ;)
