Traxxas Maxx Belted Sledgehammer® 2.9" Pre-Mounted Tires. This is a pair of replacement pre-mounted tires intended for use on the Traxxas Maxx 1/10 Monster Truck. Traxxas has designed these tires to deliver exceptional stability and control no matter where your Traxxas Maxx takes you. The broad open-block tread design prevents dirt and debris from clogging up and weighing you down, while the lightweight belting maintains the tire's shape for a larger contact patch and more grip. Traxxas Maxx Belted Sledgehammer 2.9" Pre-Mounted Tires (Chrome) (2)
These are great tires for a Traxxas Maxx. I’ve been running them for about 3 months now, and they’ve held up pretty well. The speed did drop by almost 5mph GPS, but the car handles so incredibly well at high speed and maneuvers predictably. In addition, I’ve never had to reglue them. However, they wear down pretty fast on asphalt and I don’t think it’s worth $70 for two tires, $50 or $60 makes more sense for what you’re getting here.
