The Traxxas Maxx 1/10 Brushless RTR 4WD Monster Truck is the next evolution of the popular X-Maxx basher, now scaled down and expertly packaged into a lighter lighter, more compact 1/10 scale model. Despite being smaller in size, this model sacrifices nothing when it comes to power and durability.

THE MAXX® EXPERIENCE
Extreme power. Extreme durability. Extreme fun! This is the foundation that the Maxx Experience is built upon. With a new Maxx platform that is smaller and lighter, Traxxas engineers took the speed to 60+ mph, tuned it for even higher performance, and doubled-down on strength and durability. Maxx is once again reshaping monster truck fun and excitement.

60+ MPH MAXX® MUSCLE
Traxxas Velineon brushless power hits hard with massive 4s punch and effortless wheelies on demand. Maxx feels like an unstoppable force of nature as top speeds reach an awe-inspiring 60+ mph.** Advanced 32-bit microprocessor-control constantly monitors the output for efficient, long-running performance. The high-output 540XL motor features a beefy, 5mm shaft, aluminum heat sink, and a powerful fan. Of course it’s all fully protected with Traxxas’ innovative waterproofing.

TRAXXAS TOUGH
Maxx is engineered to withstand extreme punishment and intense driving action. Impact absorbing suspension arms soak up the hits with ease. The heavy-duty driveline components have been proven in vehicles larger and heavier than Maxx, so there is plenty of strength to spare. The Maxx chassis absorbs and dissipates impact energy across the entire structure. Huge threaded-aluminum GT-Maxx shocks with large diameter shafts manage suspension damping. Maxx invites you to explore new ways to drive hard and have fun!

Traxxas Maxx 1/10 Brushless RTR 4WD Monster Truck (Orange)
Ive jumped this thing and rolled it so many times. Its a tank. Ive only ran it on 3s and its plenty of power to jump but if you wanna back flip you want to go to 4s.

Three things to fix((besides the shocks)before you have issue are:

1:The fans are prone to break, the whole fan will come out of the fan's housing (like the blades and shaft)and hit the top of the fan casing breaking your blades. Really easy to fix just need a 2mm hex screw and 5.5mm box nut. Drill a hole in the middle of each fan casings(in the top) put the box nut inside the housing and it wont let the fan come out far enough to break blades!

2: The rear differential cover comes loose.. and only gets worse over time after jumping cause it hits the ground constantly. I put a dab of super glue on each screw for the cover and it works perfect. screws dont get stuck and they are still able to be tightened and dont loosen up!!

3:The top cover for the gears is prone to letting sand and fine dirt in. you need to seal it up with grease. be sure to get where the motor mount meets the cover.

Also get the Bluetooth module its well worth it.

Traxxas Maxx 1/10 Brushless RTR 4WD Monster Truck (Orange)
I was driving my MAXX on wet asphalt with hardly any traction, on a cool day (wasn't hot outside), I didn't hit anything and I wasn't even going the top speed and my esc just did the 4 red blinking lights of death, so now I have to send my MAXX esc in to Traxxas and I have to probably pay for shipping like when I had a defective battery made by Traxxas, And guess what, I've only had my MAXX for 2 months! If this would've happened 1 month ago I would get a replacement ESC for free, BUT NOW I HAVE TO BUY ONE!!! DO NOT BUY ANY TRAXXAS ELECTRONICS!!! |:(

But their plastic is virtually indestructible ;)

Traxxas Maxx 1/10 Brushless RTR 4WD Monster Truck (Orange)
The Esc is total GARBAGE! I was running Traxxas 5000mah 4s battery and the car in stock form running around a dirt track and the car stopped and smoke started pouring out of it I ran over and luckily the solder melted off the battery and disconnected. Next morning called Traxxas and they said we could pay to ship back to them and they would look at it but even if the it was there issue they give 50% off there bomb esc. So I bought a castle Mamba X with my own money ! I have two maxx's so I bought two new ESCs before the other one catch's fire.
If you have one of these maxx's I would highly recommend replace your ESC now !

Traxxas Maxx 1/10 Brushless RTR 4WD Monster Truck (Orange)
The Maxx is one of the toughest trucks I've ever had, held up for quite a few bash sessions and extremely huge after market parts selection for it! A great buy and will have another soon.

Traxxas Maxx 1/10 Brushless RTR 4WD Monster Truck (Orange)
Truck is awesome and unreal fast. 4s battery is a bit much. Truck does wheelies and flips over. I have not read up on how to use the self-rightening but it will be amazing once I can figure it out. I'm going to try it on 3s and see if it's a bit more manageable. I'll update after I try it. Delivered on time. Price was the same as the local hobby shop. Except A Main had it in stock.

Traxxas Maxx 1/10 Brushless RTR 4WD Monster Truck (Orange)
This truck so far has exceeded my expectations. The first day I got it I was doing a speed test and hit the brakes too hard,it went tumbling down the street for about 50 feet! Hardly a scratch on it, I definitely recommend this truck but not to beginners..

Traxxas Maxx 1/10 Brushless RTR 4WD Monster Truck (Orange)
Definitely enjoying this truck. It is a beast!! Very fast on 4S. It does roll fairly easy at speed, I will be installing the Wide Maxx kit. I also highly recommend purchasing the Traxxas Blue tooth module, it adds a lot of functionality. After watching many videos/reviews, I was able to adjust my endpoint steering as well as the braking (set at 50%) and also the TSM through the Traxxas app. On the downside, the truck is very expensive. Especially considering the cost of upgrades. I knew this going in, as I did much research before purchasing.

Traxxas Maxx 1/10 Brushless RTR 4WD Monster Truck (Orange)
Overall well designed, solidly built truck. Fun and easy to drive. The wheels are total trash though and I had cracks after day one. Make sure you keep a close eye on yours and report to Traxxas within the first 30 days (that's all the warranty you get) and they will send replacements. Hopefully they get tired of replacing wheels and design some that are stronger. I own about 8 other traxxas vehicles and this is the only one I've had where the wheels are so weak out of the box.

Traxxas Maxx 1/10 Brushless RTR 4WD Monster Truck (Orange)
Delivery was fast and arrived with no damage to box and item. I was anxious to start playing. Using 3s battery imfoundmitmto be pretty fast, fast enough for me to get used to. I’ll purchase 4s in the near future once I’m used to the Maxx. I love the color scheme and the Maxx feels strong and beefy. Haven’t done any big jumps yet, but that’s coming soon.

Traxxas Maxx 1/10 Brushless RTR 4WD Monster Truck (Orange)
Purchased two of these Monster Trucks. One for my self and another for a gift. We love these trucks but we found all the weak spots on the first run. If you purchase this car, also order replacement or upgrade axles. Also check for loose screws. They will break. Other then that, they are quite enjoyable.

Traxxas Maxx 1/10 Brushless RTR 4WD Monster Truck (Orange)
Just got this thing from Hobby Town in Omaha NE and had it out one time. I was driving it slowly in training mode to get used to it and crashed it once. I noticed it wasn’t sitting level and upon closer inspection the left a-arm pivot pin had popped out and another part was misaligned. I took it home and stared digging in. I found that the entire front differential housing had broken in half, the pivot pin was bent, and another part was cracked! All from a low speed crash! I had to order these part direct from traxxas at a cost of $27.00, on top of the almost $560 price I paid for it just a few days ago, holy crap! And now I have to wait to drive this truck until I get the parts. I bought this truck because all the reviews said it was durable, unfortunately it is not durable at all.
