This is a pack of two Traxxas Heavy Duty Steel CV Rear Driveshafts. Traxxas Steel Constant Velocity Shafts deliver the ultimate in torque handling and efficient power transfer with gleaming nickel-plated shafts, combined with black silicone boots that add a custom look with improved durability. The outer U-joints are lubricated and sealed by a rubber boot for maximum protection against the elements, and the U-joint pins are captured so there is less worry about losing a pin.

For the other reviews here: there is a rebuild kit for this awesome product: TRA6757

Below is my review for the Slash 2wd version of these axles TRA6852R

July '13 - Got mine and instead of reading this, order them, NOW! BY FAR the BEST cv driveshafts for your slash (mine is 2wd). The only thing that could make these better is replacement pieces. I've had mip and others and these are worth every penny! Oct '13 - UPDATE: Still best ever upgrade for your slash ever! ZERO complaints ZERO issues! I may never need to replace these driveshafts EVER! Apr '14 Still look brand new best upgrade period!

Oct '18 - Still running the same set of axles. I have had to replace a few boots here and there but these things are like five years old now and have been through serious bashing and racing. Please don't use these on a 2wd Rustler or Stampede, Traxxas has longer ones for those models = TRA1951R

Also rebuild kit available: TRA6757

Traxxas Heavy Duty Steel CV Rear Driveshaft (2)
Purchased these to replace plastic factory half shaft set up to hopefully improve durability and reduce the chance of breakage when bashing. I run my Rustler very modified with a 1700KV Holmes trailmaster pro and 5s Lithium Ion home made packs (20v). Runs great with awesome power and reliability and run times over 30min!! Other reviewer on here had only great things to say is why I purchased them... FYI the stock ones never broke but were getting a bit worn (probably have averaged 3 runs a week since X-mass, now May 5th) so got these so I'd be ready when they did. So finally installed these with high hopes only to be sorely disappointed!! After only 3 battery runs bashing the output yolk CV boots are both torn open and the cross pins on both sides falling out!! The mid shaft boot on left side has slipped off the retaining ridge to expose shaft joint!! Holley shit Traxxas I paid like $70 for something so poorly designed it takes way more maintenance than $20 factory plastic shit(way better IMHO than these). Anyways don't wast your hard earned dollars on these things! Worthless! For some reason this review is not under correct part #.... but these were the correct set for Rustler!! Just FIY. Also yes built heavy duty but realize if you're spending $20 for a rebuild kit every 3 batteries what's the point?? Like I said my factory one gave me 4 months of hard core maintenance free performance. I'd much rather just replace with original parts like twice a year.

I ordered this for the my Stempede 4x4 vlx. I Does NOT fit. The customer services rep informed me after contacting that i need TRA6852R per parts list on TRAXXAS web site. And the TRA1951R only fits the 2wd model. Worst YET since i open the package (since it looks about right just 1/4 inch too long) the i will not be able to return it. " In a case like that I would suggest trying to sell them"
