The 1st was a dream to build and so is this one. It is like driving on pillows. I have to say, this is one of the funnest cars I have ever driven.
This being my 6th Tekno kit, I was already pretty much certain that it would be just like the other 5 I have, (EB410.2, EB48 2.0, EB48.4, ET48.3, SCT410.3) and it hasnt disappointed. I did find one problem during the build which was the input pinion gear on the front diff appears to have been machined or cast improperly as 3 or 4 teeth bind a bit every time the gear makes a full turn so it gets a bit tight in that area.. Unfortunately the gear was on back order for a while but I was able to run the truck with the issue, it was just quite noisy. It wasnt binding bad enough to strain the motor/bearing etc, but it definitely needed to be fixed, plus it was the first and only problem Ive ever had with any part in with of my Tekno kits so it was no big deal. I never drove the original ET410 so I cant compare it with this newer .2 version, but after just a few packs I can already tell Im going to have a lot of fun with this rig... Electronics are Protek 160TBL servo, Maclan and Protek 6100mah LiHV batteries, Hobbywing XR10 Pro G2 ESC/6.5t combo. Truck is super fun on the my local track when its in good shape, but it gets super blown out pretty often from big 1/8 vehicles and the weather being its outdoors. I run a lot of my RC's in a big smooth parkinglot and have a few jumps and cones set up, but in big open areas like that I really wish this truck was set up to run on 3s for a bit more speed. Unlike the smaller EB410.2 and my other 1/10 4wd rigs, if I gear this one up for more speed on road the extra weight and bigger tires create a good amount of heat. Still an easy 5 stars though as it drives just like the big 1/8 truggies, just smaller and more nimble...
Love this kit! I run it on my local 1/8 dirt track and this thing is awesome. Running mamba x sensored racing esc and castle sensored motor with a gens ace redline 2s shorty pack. 3s is pretty wild so i normally run it on 2s. I have more fun with it than with my 8th scale truggys.
This Truggy has been fantastic. I received it as a gift and have been racing it at my local track for over a year now and have hit the A-main podium every trophy race since. This truggy is so fun to drive...a lot of racers are missing out on the fun because their brand doesn't have a 1/10 mini truggy. If I ever get tired of racing, this truggy will easily turn into a small basher I can play around the neighborhood with. I recommend upgrading to the exotek rear hubs because the stock plastic ones tend to break eventually but that's about it.
Love this mini truggy 11/10!
Kit went together great no problems everything fit perfectly and the craftsman ship was flawless.
My son and I both club race these trucks and they've been tough and fast right out of the box and more importantly a real blast to race.
Hands down best rc I've driven. I had to but a second
The tekno 410.2. Car I ordered from Amain was delivered to my door within 30 hours After driving the ET 410.2 I bought two more the way it handles and drives is so amazing. To me it’s the only car was driving now thank you tekno I’ll be waiting for the eighth scale buggy size Truggy to be developed next
Tekno ET410.2. Just finished the assembly, and as always went together smoothly and exactly. Manual was spot on, no surprises. Tekno has taken its' Baby Truggy to another level. They have made several changes, but won't have a chance to check its' performance just yet. However, if it is anything like the first version it is going to be awesome. Tekno seldom, if at all, gets it worng. I anticipate a pleasant first run in the very near future. Well done, Tekno!!
Awesome truck, easy to build in all, the manual is very discriptive and tells you everything.
Just finished my first truggy build and raced this past weekend. What a killer, fell in love with it during the first practice. Build one and you won't regret it!
Very pleased with the build quality, performance, and durability of this truggy!
The best RC car I have ever owned. I have built and run Losi, Associated, Kyosho, Traxxas vehicles. I have run 8 scale buggy, 8 scale truggy, 4wd buggy, 2wd buggy, 4wd sc truck, 2wd sc truck, 2wd st truck. This et410.2 4wd stadium truck is the most rounded rc vehicle. Ten scale parts and economy, 8 scale buggy foot print, looks like a stadium truck. Couldnt ask for more out of a RC car. If I could only pick one, it would be the ET410.2
Come on Tekno you can do better. $450 for a kit and I have to spend another $120 to make it durable. Just include the aluminum ackerman plate, aluminum shock caps and at least the carbon fiber center diff plate & front top plate in the kit (not to mention the shock towers). Other brands include these item plus more in a kit for under $400. The plastic is very soft and I stripped 3 holes building the kit. I've been racing RC for 15 years so this is not my first build. I get it, I'm in manufacturing. The more "after market parts" you sell, the more profitable but give me a platform that I can go to the track and finish a 5 minute race with. I'm a guy that runs over 90% consistency and I thrashed all night just to start at the tail of the B-main. I single every jump because I was afraid to break it. I did finish P2 in the main but have zero confidence in durable until my "aftermarket parts" arrive!!
Love it, I put this kit together no issues…
As per Amain, I can’t be any more satisfied, customer service is amazing and courteous…
Always a great experience…
Great truck! Have been running this for around 40 batteries. Super happy with it and the company. Really fast and jumps great. Fun to run with SC wheels and St wheels. Reliable!
This truck handles great and very durable run at local track and abuse it hasn’t broke yet
This lil truggy is tough amazing on track and bashing have the max 10 system in it and only 3s it is way more than it needs lol but a blast
Great car easy build definitely do some research before buying your going to want to get some of the aluminum upgrades for the front end. And does not come with any tools if your a first timer
the fit and finish of the parts where amazing ... honestly its a TEKNO what more can be said!
