The TLR 22T 4.0 1/10 2WD Electric Stadium Truck Kit takes the competition proven 22T 3.0, and gives it the advanced mid-motor laydown transmission treatment. With the wider track width and the relatively shorter chassis of the truck class, TLR engineers and the race team demanded higher development of the 22 platform.
The laydown transmission moves the motor forward to a central motor location. This provides a chassis that drives much flatter, more consistent and corners quicker on higher grip surfaces. Still fitting a brick pack, saddle pack, or a shorty pack mounted across the chassis, drivers can maximize performance with best weight bias for all surfaces. In short, we’ve taken the race winning 22T 3.0 and added the “laydown” setup to maximize the performance.

At my home track ST class is dead, probably because the costs of tyres are super hi now and a normal cluby guy just can’t cover that kind of expense but I like turning laps with an ST because of the extra ride height and tyre grip.
The build is just like the buggy very similar in comparison.
Iv seen guys ripping out their front trailing pills on the Facebook groups and YouTube on there first battery so I decided to super glue mine in and For now they are still there along with the axels, I don’t know why Tlr would manufacture a critical part to have a weakness and then put a tall price on the upgrade part for this they’ll loose customers and a star.
On track the steering is very sensitive almost too sensitive it’s hard to drive,I built mine in 3G standup (which I had to purchase separately) for outdoor use, having rear grip and sealed gears is a must for outdoors. The truck performs ok off road, kit setting is for hi grip though the steering system needs attention..
yes trucks are down but not out i hope there's a resurgence in rc once 17.5 racing finally runs its course and its not run on the club level anymore. we cannot afford to lose anymore racers who actually pay for the stuff they race..13.5 and mod...that's all you need.
Anyway, if you want an awesome stadium truck that rips on the track, this is a great choice...
