The TLR 22T 4.0 1/10 2WD Electric Stadium Truck Kit takes the competition proven 22T 3.0, and gives it the advanced mid-motor laydown transmission treatment. With the wider track width and the relatively shorter chassis of the truck class, TLR engineers and the race team demanded higher development of the 22 platform.

The laydown transmission moves the motor forward to a central motor location. This provides a chassis that drives much flatter, more consistent and corners quicker on higher grip surfaces. Still fitting a brick pack, saddle pack, or a shorty pack mounted across the chassis, drivers can maximize performance with best weight bias for all surfaces. In short, we’ve taken the race winning 22T 3.0 and added the “laydown” setup to maximize the performance.

Team Losi Racing 22T 4.0 1/10 2WD Electric Stadium Truck Kit
I got a Losi 4.0 mainly because it’s the cheapest ST on the market.
At my home track ST class is dead, probably because the costs of tyres are super hi now and a normal cluby guy just can’t cover that kind of expense but I like turning laps with an ST because of the extra ride height and tyre grip.
The build is just like the buggy very similar in comparison.
Iv seen guys ripping out their front trailing pills on the Facebook groups and YouTube on there first battery so I decided to super glue mine in and For now they are still there along with the axels, I don’t know why Tlr would manufacture a critical part to have a weakness and then put a tall price on the upgrade part for this they’ll loose customers and a star.

On track the steering is very sensitive almost too sensitive it’s hard to drive,I built mine in 3G standup (which I had to purchase separately) for outdoor use, having rear grip and sealed gears is a must for outdoors. The truck performs ok off road, kit setting is for hi grip though the steering system needs attention..

Team Losi Racing 22T 4.0 1/10 2WD Electric Stadium Truck Kit
trucks in general are better than they ever have been across the board. this one is probably on top since the parts are readly available. per the last comments yes they turn and rotate better you'll find you don't need a ton of servo here. and if you do turn it down slow it down and you'll be fine.
yes trucks are down but not out i hope there's a resurgence in rc once 17.5 racing finally runs its course and its not run on the club level anymore. we cannot afford to lose anymore racers who actually pay for the stuff they race..13.5 and mod...that's all you need.

Team Losi Racing 22T 4.0 1/10 2WD Electric Stadium Truck Kit
After picking up both the TLR 22 5.0 Elite and 22x4 kits back a couple months ago and being so happy with every aspect of them, (other than the instruction manuals compared to the 5 Tekno kit instructions I've built recently), I had to add the 22T 4.0 to the collection next. Just like the others, everything went together great as the parts, fit and finish and overall quality is great, plus along with the same Hobbywing XR10 Pro G2 ESC / 5.5T, 6.5T, 7.5T motor combo, Protek 160T servo, Maclan and Protek 6100mah LiHV batteries and Futaba R334sbs-e reciever linked to my 7PX that all my 1/10th scale kits have, the performance is great. I also picked up the aluminum rear hubs, aluminum front camber block and servo mounts, sway bar sets, brass servo, esc, battery plate set, brass front pivot block, and a J Concepts body. The next kit will be the 4wd SCT 3.0, although I would like to find out if a new version is in the works as I dont want to get something that will be replaced anytime soon. I sort of doubt it as short course racing interest has dropped over the last few years. I just wish TLR made a 1/10 4wd truggy like Tekno and Xray as Im liking the setup Ive got going now with all my 1/8 stuff being Tekno with my EB48.4, EB48 2.0, ET48.3, SCT410.3 and the 1/10 being the TLR rigs, even though I did grab the Tekno EB410.2 over the winter and really enjoy driving that also, so Ill probably just pick up the ET410 when it is back in stock...

Anyway, if you want an awesome stadium truck that rips on the track, this is a great choice...

Team Losi Racing 22T 4.0 1/10 2WD Electric Stadium Truck Kit
Stadium Truck class is making a resurgence at my local track so I pulled the trigger on the 22T. I have a feeling that TLR will be dropping a 5.0 next year but couldn’t wait. Like all TLR kits since the begining, fit and finish are awesome. Manual clear and easy to follow. After building up a 22 5.0 elite there are some things I wish the 22T 4.0 had as well. Looks like a lot of the 5.0 stuff could fit or be coaxed into “fitting”. Tons of steering out of the box. Grip for days in fast corners and flys nice and flat over the doubles. 4 stars for the price but everything else about the kit is 5 stars all day!

Team Losi Racing 22T 4.0 1/10 2WD Electric Stadium Truck Kit
Very nice truck, and I feel it’s one of the best equipped out of the box so you don’t have to spend time and money chasing down upgrades to make it work. The quality of parts is excellent. The plastics are great and everything fit together very well. The aluminum parts are very nicely machined and finished (this is an area where I have experienced issues with new Associated kits). I was a little concerned about the gearbox as I had heard some complain about binding, but mine went together flawlessly and is very smooth. I did glue my front trailing inserts into the hubs, but haven’t had any issues yet. I would like to see TLR abandon this design in future kits and go to traditional hubs with no inserts. Overall, this is a great truck and a nice product. No regrets here.

Team Losi Racing 22T 4.0 1/10 2WD Electric Stadium Truck Kit
This truck is awesome. Super easy build ! Only downfall is the turnbuckles are completely useless. Shouldn’t have to buy competitors turnbuckles to run this truck. Really disappointed
