Team Losi Racing 22 5.0 DC Race Roller 1/10 2WD Electric Buggy Kit (Dirt/Clay)
1st, I dont race 1/10 2wd ebuggy 17.5/21.5... yet... i race 1/5 gas Pro 4. In my quest to switch hats from wrench to driver.. not only has TLR/Losi been the go to in my large scale race inventory of 5T2.0's and TLR 5B's it was an obvious no brainer to snatch this kit when i got the email on it. I also own the TLR SCTE 2.5 Pro 4 Slash killer.. and have owned the TLR 22SCT and the 22 4.0. So i have some TLR knowledge but no a lot. I do know this though, when this 22 5.0 DC Roller showed up over 2 weeks AHEAD of schedule i was beyond stoked. Pulling the roller out of the perfectly intact box I did what Mr Root from TLR said what was required to get up on that Podeum... SO i glued my set of AKA Chainlinks and foams on to the supplied wheels, painted the body, installed my Maclan 17.5, R1Wurks Digital 3 Super Stock in blinky mode, my R1Wurks 7.4v Battery, threw the wings on it and hit the track...well ok.. kitchen floor. I did bust out my other 4wd 13.5 Xray build and my Losi Mini B2.0 1/16 and did an out of the box setup comparison. TLR did a fantastic job on this in every way, i could have easily went straight to the track and if my sub par driving skills werent the case, this Pre assembled roller would have been beyond competitive. Even though not an Elite kit, fit and finish were way above my expectations. The shock setup out of the box was literally perfect, the MKS x6 servo dropped right in, i have still yet to even make any adjustments to the chassis. Drives straight, Flys straight and it is very balanced in its current layout. Its light, quiet, fast and has perfect steering and turns on a dime. It has a very low CG with little nose dive and body roll... drives almost like my XB4 which makes 2wd alot more fun to drive! I have zero complaints on any of the items within the package. Lots of Option parts available..at this time, none are needed in any way... assembled, plush suspension, balanced, metal in the right spots, above average plastics, light and perfect amount of real estate to hold all the recipe items... and all of it delivered to your door race ready after your finishing touches... for under $300...yup, Ham and Eggs... it doesnt suck.. this is what they would call... a wise investment. RD

$500 Total Budget build - $269 roller, $15 high speed mgwp ds servo, Rocket 540 v4s dual sensored 17.5T motor $49.99, Hobby Wing 30112000 XeRun XR10 Justock $52, Proline 825717 Positron 2.2WD x2 $40, CNHL 6200mAh 7.4V 2S Lipo Battery 100C $38 - Flysky gt3 radio $40 - $500

Team Losi Racing 22 5.0 DC Race Roller 1/10 2WD Electric Buggy Kit (Dirt/Clay)
This is my first 10th Scale Buggy. I choose to go with the Race roller simply for the time savings. I do not have as much time with work and so this got me up and running in a very short amount of time. I am very pleased with the build. I installed the Hobbywing XR10 Justock Sensored Brushless ESC/SD G2.1 Motor Combo (17.5T) and ProTek RC 160TBL "Black Label" Low Profile High Torque Brushless Servo. I took the car to OCRC to test it out just a few days after getting it and it was perfect for that track. I had a lot of fun and entered my 1st race. I ended up 4th in the B Main but I had a great time and I am looking forward to racing again soon. I feel that this car is perfectly set up for someone getting into racing. It is simple and easy to set up. As I progress and get better I will or parts break I will upgrade them and over time the car will eventually be closer to the 5.0 Elite. But for now, I need to focus on my driving and staying in the groove.

Team Losi Racing 22 5.0 DC Race Roller 1/10 2WD Electric Buggy Kit (Dirt/Clay)
Awesome 2wd buggy, dialed on clay right out of the box with kit set up, make a few minor adjustments to your style and your set. Got tired of chasing the set ups on associated cars. Won the first 4 races in a row right off the bat with this car, where as I couldn't win with the Associated car.

Team Losi Racing 22 5.0 DC Race Roller 1/10 2WD Electric Buggy Kit (Dirt/Clay)
This TLR 22 5.0 DC Roller, was a kit but it was assembled, which i appreciated as i have put together two other kits and i just find it hard to find time to do them, i didn't mind purchasing it as intended, out of the box after putting in electronics and tires works nicely on a clay track, nothing to say... I know it is lazy of me, but i purchased two TLR RTRs and i have bought since TLR 3.0 Short Course Buggy and another TLR 22 5.0 kits which i put together and the only reason was during COVID i had time as i was working from home. But, i enjoy the building of the kits however my only grip is the instructions are piss poor from TLR, they really need to work better in terms of explanations. Other than that, i loved it and worked as intended out of the box..

07/01/2022 - So, after about a year i have it i love it, it is a solid buggy but nothing bad to say, i have raced it on a clay track and practiced with it, i don't go bashing with it it is strickly going to track.

Team Losi Racing 22 5.0 DC Race Roller 1/10 2WD Electric Buggy Kit (Dirt/Clay)
Great quality buggy. I bought this buggy for a custom no prep drag build. The fit and finish of the parts are top notch.

Team Losi Racing 22 5.0 DC Race Roller 1/10 2WD Electric Buggy Kit (Dirt/Clay)
I opened the box to find a complete car, such a great way to get more people into racing for a great price and little set up. Grab the electronics of your choosing mount up the tires for your track paint and go kill the competition. TLR made my life so much easier when I'm still building my 22x4.

Team Losi Racing 22 5.0 DC Race Roller 1/10 2WD Electric Buggy Kit (Dirt/Clay)
I haven't owned a 10th scale 2wd or 4wd buggy in a long time. I started getting the itch to see how good the new 2wd buggies were. They are so much different than they were in 1996,1997.So much more efficient, lighter everywhere, smaller and way better.I really like the car so far,tlr really sets you up good right out of the box....Totally cool,I have like 9 other r/cos but I'm very happy so far with the quality from tlr.....Thanks tlr,and amain for everything.
