It is a great kit, however...
Plastic bulkhead is a joke and just like on every other AE kit it breaks from any crash. Get the aluminum bulkhead. Should be included in place of body not included!
It is pretty unbelievable that the body is not included. There is not even a listing of body options that will work listed on the manual.
I get it that most kits today show painted kit with tires and wheels (not included) but why take misleading photos on the box and sell a kit without the body?
My first shortcourse kit ever (my son wanted one). Good kit out of the box. No binding issues in the arms/ hinge-pins like on the B74.1d. The hardware included was from a different vendor and higher quality than the B74.1d as well.
Was missing the little pin for the big slipper screw, and had one bad 2.5mm screw for the sway bar hold down. Other than that all good.
Purchased an aluminum bulkhead before assembly- these "Factory Team" kits should include it. Its been a weak-point of every version of RC-10 for ..forever.
I understand why they don't include the body for shipping reasons (huge), but throw in some wheels or something.
I bought the Hi-flow JConcepts body. They need to come out with a pre-cut or I will be forced to buy the Pro-Line next time. What a pain in the butt.
But as far as the kit goes, good build, good design, good quality, good support and options.
I just finally switched from cough ouch an old sc10. I had the sc 10 dailed for the indoor tracks. If your thinking of switching dont hesitate at all. Can push this car so hard so much easier than the old sc10 I ran since they came out. This thing is night and day difference. Al though I did break the front plastic bulk head coming of a step down in the first 5 mintues. So I switch to the aluminum right away. I have not finished a race with this yet cause I had turn buckles issue my error. when she was running i was gaining laps doing great. Night and day difference over the old sc10 from 2009.
Poor instructions, bags are not labeled well and a pain in the a$$ to install the diff
Great kit. I run on high bite clay and it was pretty dialed out of the box.
Bought this to get back into racing after a long break. Very clear build with great instructions and hardware; ridiculous tuning ability can be a bit intimidating but I just stuck with the kit setup and made minor adjustments from there. Two minor complaints: 1. The battery Holder is a really poor design for something so frequently used and 2. Throw some wheels in at this price point.

Product is great. Your guys service is amazing. However... You gotta stop selecting signature for the customer if they do not select it.. Pre populate it, allow us to Un check it.
I live in a rural area, I forgoe the option because with diesel at $6 + a gallon. It costs me money. And it's happened to a pair of shock bodies and other small items. Please. Stop.
Nice kit, went together well, love the included building options, I think I finished mine while it's still being produced, and minus a few mistakes, the instructions were good. At this price point an aluminum or steel bulkhead should be included along with a few extra bits and pieces of hardware, especially the optional screws. I'd build another one.
Best short course truck on the market. Team Associated knocked it out of the park. No crazy hop up kit needed to wind races with this one.
