Team Associated RC10B74.2 Factory Team Lightweight Center Driveline Kit. Designed to reduce rotating mass and improve efficiency this driveline kit saves 19.3g of weight over the stock steel parts. With lightweight parts comes less longevity and durability right? Team Associated has addressed this by using high strength aluminum alloy combined with incorporating plastic blade inserts that act as the contact surface between the dog bone pins and outdrives to reduce wear and friction. An excellent addition for spec classes like 13.5T racing this driveline kit gives you an advantage over your competition.

NOTE:
Not recommended for modified racing or with the use of a slipper clutch.

Includes:

  • (2) Center Dogbone Outdrives
  • (2) Center Differential Outdrives
  • (4) Plastic Blade Inserts
  • (1) Aluminum 92mm Driveshaft
  • (1) ALuminum 61mm Driveshaft

I'm not a very fast racer, and this is a great way to lighten up rotating mass, and mass in general from the car, especially if you also have plastic diff gears in the front and rear. I noticed a little more pep in my 13.5 stock b74.2.

I've only had it. Out for 3 races so far, so durability is yet to be seen. So far so good.

I'd say if you are top tier racer, and are looking for that little extra edge to move up on the podium, probably invest in the mod/mip system that also does the axles. For everyone else, this is a fantastic solution.
