All you guys complaining about these awesome axles don't realize you need three mill bearings. Losi part number TLR237001 are the best, they sealed on one side. This will put the centerline of the cardan joint at the kingpin centerline and you have plenty of threads. Stop complaining about things you don't know.

Great axle! Using 5x10x3 bearing addressed the axle length issue!

These work great. Use a 3mm bearing on the insides and there is enough thread to FULLY seat a thin serrated wheel nut.

The axles are too short.
Associated solution is to use 4mm thick clamping hex and thin wheel nuts.

Purchased these $50 axles and used them once. They are too short. Associated changed them to fit rules since their buggy comes out illegal and in doing so they made them useless. You get two threads to hold the wheel on. Doesn't matter if you run a low profile nut or a two inch thick nut. you only get two threads on the axle. Since they are used they are now worthless $50 paper weights. I called Associated and there was nothing they could or would do. Don't waste your time or money. They simply don't work with two threads to hold on a wheel.

This driveshaft makes the car feel more active during turns and S-curves. As an example, if there is an immediate jump after a 180-degree turn, then this will give it slightly more power.

That said, the threaded length is in my opinion too short for my DE racing rims as well as my X-ray rims so I always worry about losing a wheel during. I use the ultra-thin aluminum nut from Tekno or Yokomo and they barely hold on to the wheel. I hope Associated have a solution for that.
