The Team Associated RC10 B6.2 Team 1/10 2wd Electric Buggy Kit carries on the AE tradition of domination. The B6.2 is the buggy of choice for high-grip carpet or turf track surfaces with its Laydown transmission assembly and anti-roll bars for optimal mass balance.

Combine this with high end features like an easy-access differential, outer rear hinge pins captured with bolt head and locknut for increased durability, symmetric rear arms that can be flipped to allow an in-between rear shock mounting position, and a revised slipper assembly. The setups and tuning parts are interchangeable between the B6.2 and B6.2D configurations, and offer the speed, durability and lineage expected of a true champion.

NOTE: Painted body, electronics, wheels and tires shown in photos are for illustrative purposes only and are not included. See needed to complete list below for a full list of items required to complete the model.

Team Associated RC10 B6.2 Team 1/10 2wd Electric Buggy Kit
Corner speed for days, won’t break free, or do weird stuff like traction tweak out on a lengthy straightaway. Car really only needs machines shock internals, and a brass front bulkhead, and you have a winning car. Build was straightforward and easy. New parts supplier is miles above the Chinese junk of a few years ago. Base setup is really neutral, and easy to drive. Hate the new body, but it gets the job done very well.

Team Associated RC10 B6.2 Team 1/10 2wd Electric Buggy Kit
Coming from a B6 I wasn't sure how much better it would be. I have a turf track with some good size jumps . This is an easy build and definitely the best car to ever hit my track. Getting the gear diff out of this car takes about a minute. Front and rear sway bars makes a big difference. It corners better than anything I've ever driven and I've been running for 20 years , nitro and electric 1/8 scale and 10th scale.
I have a lap monitor so we are actually pushing these cars hard for lap times on turf wiich usually has so much traction it tears outdrives, gears, transmissions and more up . Not this car, it holds up to my fast 7.5 and heavy trigger hand all day . My track has burms going up walls we air out on and one jump is 18 feet and a few others pretty big . It is not easy on cars . You can see footage on my Instagram of it launching the jumps no problem.

Love this car so much! It was so fun to build, I want to buy another one just so that I can enjoy the process of building it! If you have never built a kit before this would be a great place to start. It is like Lego for adults!

great buggy, the build was tedious though, the instructions on the manual can be explained a lot better and some of the parts are low quality.

Team Associated RC10 B6.2 Team 1/10 2wd Electric Buggy Kit
This is my second 2wd kit in the past 6 months, and I really got it to compare to my 22 5.0 Elite which is awesome. Overall there are things I prefer about each one, the included extras and slightly better fit and finish with the 22, plus the always perfectly precut TLR bodies are always a big hit with me as the only part of building kits that I dont like is trimming the bodies. I do think the B6.2 seems to be just a bit quicker in box stock form, however with so many upgrades and option parts available for both, neither one stayed stock for long and I can never decide which is my favorite. I built mine with a Hobbywing XR10 Pro/7.5t combo, a Tekin T-120 servo, the Kashima shock bodies, JCons aluminum shock caps top and bottom, spring adjusters, front bulkhead/camber mount, servo mount, plus all the aluminum steering parts, as well as some of the brass parts to play around with moving weight settings around. Cant go wrong with either once you get them dialed... All these top level kits are getting so similar that its all personal preference and driving style for what one will work best for you. If you stick with one and work on the setup and practice anyone can turn good laps with any of the top kits these days.

Team Associated RC10 B6.2 Team 1/10 2wd Electric Buggy Kit
Fantastic build and car. But I’ll start with the one gripe I have. The transmission is tight, upon assembly, and does not freespin. I tried loosening and just kissing the case screws, re-checking bearings and the assembly process, and removing/just kissing the rear ball stud mount bracket (I can’t recall the correct name for it). It just didn’t spin as freely as any other competition platform vehicle I’ve built. However, it seems to have improved, the more I’ve driven it.

The kit contains option parts, that I had to purchase separately for my B6. Front and rear sway bars, front wing, battery weight, electronics weight, etc. I do wish AE would include a set of wheels with the kit.

I intend to purchase another kit, to replace one for one of my kids (An original B6, that’s been driven a ton). I would have looked at a different manufacturer, if I was unhappy with this kit, but it is a great driving vehicle (Exceeds my abilities!).

Team Associated RC10 B6.2 Team 1/10 2wd Electric Buggy Kit
My first RC10 was a Gold Pan and my second one is this one. Ive built many Tamiya, Axial, RC4WD and other kits and I have to say Im impressed with this B6.2. Because Ive built so many kits I can say these instructions arent the best nor the worst so beginners might have to stop and google. The fit and finish, materials are top notch. I built mine with a couple of recommended upgrades but even stock it seems to be great. Only real snag was the transmission. It was binding unless I backed off the screws to the point case was separating. I had to shave down some plastic. The diff screws touched the inner case in some spots. I may have had a bum case because Ive built many transmissions and usually never had an issue like this. Even then I think every kit has to have some "massaging" of the trans to get it as friction free as possible. Definitely dont tighten down the case too much. Everything else had a precision fit to it that only high end kits will allow you to experience. Havent been able to test it but from what I see online, its competetive.

Team Associated RC10 B6.2 Team 1/10 2wd Electric Buggy Kit
Kit went together smooth as butter. I upgraded the shock bodies to Kashimas, aluminum cross bars, diff heigh inserts, and diff cover. Worked out perfectly. Haven't run the car due to world events but maybe in 2 or 3 months...

Although it was a change from B6.1, the time could be further increased.
The best machine of 2020.

Team Associated RC10 B6.2 Team 1/10 2wd Electric Buggy Kit
Wow! This kit is great out of the box. It is very neutral and easy to drive. My laps time are more consistent as I am not fighting/struggling with the car. It is also a great value as it comes with parts like the servo and electronics ballast weights, front and rear sway bars and 2 front wings which are all options for my Xray XB2 Carpet Edition 2020. The manual could be improved upon but experienced builders will be able to figure it out. Overall, I am very happy with this purchase.

Team Associated RC10 B6.2 Team 1/10 2wd Electric Buggy Kit
I own B6, B6.1, and now b6.2 so very familiar with this car. Use on high traction carpet. Liked the B6 a little more than the b6.1 except for the easy access diff which brings me to the 6.2. It's a great upgrade and evolution of this car. Now with the longer chassis, different rear arms, easy access diff, and comes with the +1 ackerman and weights makes it better than the other two from the start. You still need the brass bulkhead and aluminum steering. Directions were not very good, poor packing and poor illustrations making some things confusing (thinking about those who are newer to this). Now for in action, I have been to the track twice and it's anew layout so even last B6 set up not perfect. Stock set up is very good and very close, a little more connected with this over the other cars, only hang up is slight bounce on flat landing (still playing with pistons, I think the 1.8 is too big on rear or 30wt oil is too low). Also stock, the lateral grip at 4mm spacers on rear camber was loose so went back to 2mm and seems much better. All in all, you will have to tweak for your riding and track, but it's a great car and better than the last two iterations!

Great kit to build. Typical AE quality and easy step by step instructions. Very nice kit, would recommend a brass bulkhead purchase to make this complete for carpet racing.

Team Associated RC10 B6.2 Team 1/10 2wd Electric Buggy Kit
Associated cars have always been top notch. This kit has been easy to assemble with fit & finish of parts & easy to follow instructions. I have not ran the car yet but have ran the B6 and I'm sure this car will be a big improvement over it.
