The Team Associated Pro2 SC10 1/10 RTR 2WD Short Course Truck has been styled after the Pro 2 trucks driven in off road racing. This SC10 uses a rear mounted motor on a short course chassis that shares many parts from the popular RC10 SC5M platform. Featuring big bore shocks, sealed gear differential and heavy-duty CVA drive shafts come standard to provide a high level of performance out of the box. A Reedy 3300kV motor is paired with a Reedy ESC for incredible speed.

This Pro2 SC10 comes with a 2-channel 2.4GHz radio system featuring DVC (Dynamic Vehicle Control). Protected by the water-resistant enclosed receiver box, the DVC system improves stability in all terrain conditions by automatically counter-steering when the vehicle starts to slide. With a metal-gear, high-torque Reedy servo rounding out the electronics package, the Pro2 SC10 is nothing short of a success in RC off-road racing.

Team Associated Pro2 SC10 1/10 RTR 2WD Short Course Truck (AE Team)
DISCLAIMER: I purchased this truck from a LHS to support my local RC track.

This truck is absolutely one of the best ways to get into RC racing on a budget. But you're thinking "340 USD for just the truck?? How is that budget??". Now let me start by saying you're better off with the battery and charger combo for 400, it's a good deal for sure. If you have the intention of getting into racing or you want to spend time at your local track and get the feel for it, this is the RTR for you. A stock slash will not be anywhere near as capable or as fast on track as a stock pro2. The pro2 shares many parts with the higher end SC6 SCT which allows for many upgrade opportunities should you want to get more serious with being competitive in your local race scene. That's not to say this is a bad basher though. I've beat on mine for over a year and have gotten into some sizable crashes with little to no damage at all. A good first upgrade is a set of wheels with tires that other local racers use at your local track. After that, this thing is an absolute beast for sure!

Team Associated Pro2 SC10 1/10 RTR 2WD Short Course Truck (AE Team)
I have to 22S Losi RTRs and I purchased this one as I wanted to try out another brand, Team Associated I took it to my local clay track in my city, it did well and I was impressed with it more than the 22S Losi's. I upgraded its wheels/tires for the following due to the clay track, the vehicle drove even better.

Note: I did break, the front end Bulkhead and front arms, as I broke those two during my first time on the track but the reason was is that I hit the wall pretty hard head on, it could have been anything but I have read that TM needs to do more in terms of some of their parts. Oh, i had some rear end axle issues popping out randomly but not all the time it was only once that it occurred since then, no big deal!

Overall, i am very pleased with it and i am having a lot of fun with it as in the old days i was an old school RC10 TM person but i am enjoying it and i am not bashing it, i am at my local race track that is clay based! It gets over the jumps rather, easy to dial in, track helped me... other than that i might just upgrade some of the more practical parts.

Update: 07/01/2022 - Since having this for sometime now, i have ran through it on a clay track in racing, practice no bashing otherwise, however my only issue i have with it is the body is horrible and i have had to replace it... Other than that it is a solid vehicle.

This is just a total blast to rip around on or off road. I’ve always been a fan of associated s’ stuff.
