Fit and finish on the dr10 is horrible stickers where applied crooked the body was not trimmed out properly and rubs the front wheels when turning the shocks we're all different lengths none of them were assembled the same was going to return the car instead spent hours making it the way it should have been out of the box car would not go straight even on 2s I have no desire to ever by another team associated product which is sad used to be my favorite RC company
I purchased this car back in February as a birthday gift. Been seeing more drag racing on youtube and I wanted to get involved. As another reviewer mentioned, the body was done poorly. The stickers were crooked and not even applied in some spots.The grill decal was broken. Also, when I first opened the sealed AE box, the tie wraps holding everything in place were all broken. Because of this, the body was already scratched on the roof. I know I know, the car will crash and flip over eventually, but right out of the box? Anyways, didn't run the car until March due to the weather in New England. Runs well right out the box. I changed the battery connector to my favorite, and just ran it. Actually goes pretty well, but is very under geared out of the box. Also, as a side note, I started to adjust the suspension to make for straighter launches but then, after disabling the AVC, realized that it was doing quite a bit to keep this thing straight! Ok, back to square one. Cool car out of the box, gets compliments every time I take it out. Wish it had better attention to detail, but I'll customize it to my liking anyways.
The body is super clean very good quality and the car itself is very nice I love it I would advise going with a 120c 3s battery to get the most out of stock setup
Expensive if you buy full price, but an absolute steal if you get it for $200 brushless rtr. This is my second dr10 and it’s a lot of fun and easy to get into racing with young kids like I have. It doesn’t take long to get ready to rip down a 132ft scale 1/4 mile and it takes even less time for the kids to get the hang of it. Buy two at that $200 price and have a blast. The aftermarket is seemingly endless with what you can do with them, and even with a bunch of power thrown at it the chassis handles pretty good. I’ve also got the builders kit for my first one and it’s got a tire smoking arrma felony swap shoved in there and finessed to fit. The short of it is the dr10 is fun for all ages and speeds.

We love the car it's quick and fast. Just had one issue out of the box we got the car with a bad shock it leaked out all over the car box etc. I replaced the o ring on top of the shock cap took care of it changed the diff fluid and put different weights for the shocks only time will tell about the fix. Otbee than that the car is way bigger than expected... Love the size weight tracs straight off the line even with dvc off on 2 cell lipo thank you guys...
DR10 is underrated street basher! Car needs shock & diff tuning out of box for us experienced hobbyists. Cons; slight wobble with A arms & very light front damping...both Easily fixable..Pros; many hop ups available, plenty fast on 3s, great looks, handles street bashing extremely well!! I primarily bash offroad 1/8th scale Serpent, 1/10 Traxxas,1/10 & 1/14 Team Associated,1/14th Tacon RCs. DR10 platform will be fun to modify & try different things. Definitely a fun car if you like drag racing.. It comes 3S capable, I've only used a 2s once, pretty quick on 3. front end is spongy, needs stiffening up and a heavier shock oil so when you let off the throttle the down force doessn't drag the front bumper across the asphalt. Im in Ga so I definetly should have gotten the oval dirt track car. but stil, very pleased with the Team Associated DR10 no prep drag car

Found it on sale, I wanted to try a drag car. So, for $199, figured it was worth trying. Well worth it for a starter. I thought I might get bored, but it's actually fun to drive as a street car too. Definitely needs some suspension adjustments, but no big deal. Happy with the quality. If you're considering trying one out, I'd recommend it. If you're more serious about drag racing, I'd get the higher model, it'll save money in the long run with upgrades.
Pretty cool! Very beginner friendly. If you have a 2wd Slash, then you're already familiar with this design. I wish it would have came geared for racing, but it's geared more friendly for zipping around the neighborhood. I'm looking forward to putting in the work to make it competitive! The user manual is second to none in detail too, which is nice.
Anyone looking to buy the associated SR10 OR the DR10,, BUY GEARS when you order,, I have purchased both and they are turtles out of the box !!! Why would they send them out that way ??

This car seems very well put together and is just what I was expecting. As we are still in the middle of winter and have not seen clear pavement for months, i have not yet had the chance to run the car outside of leaving a couple of black marks on the kitchen floor.
Car is nice but doesn’t go straight, definitely not as fast as advertised,body was broken. Not amains fault package had no damage. You have to be available for signature when being delivered according to website. Took a day off of work not a big deal because I made the purchase. The problem with that is that the package was left at the door no door bell no knock no signature. Why require a signature if you are going to ship with no signature required. Not sure I would purchase this vehicle again.
Quality control is hit and miss. Out of box, on 2s, first run, bone stock, car hooked very hard left and flipped over. Not a great way to start enjoying a RTR.
