Tamiya Type 380 Sport-Tuned Brushed Motor w/ 3.5mm Bullet

This little inexpensive motor is okay for use in, say, a Grasshopper-it will be a slight upgrade from the stock 380 in the kit. But it's not a 540 silver can.......
The stock 540 silver can is, in my opinion, the best upgrade for a Grasshopper-but this motor will run a lot longer if that's your thing. The only issue with this one is finding the correct pinion gear. In certain tests it was discovered that the Sport Tuned 380 did, in fact, have a higher top speed than a stock 540. But it, of course, has less torque. And it's a bit lighter in weight, too. If you can find one cheap it's worth a shot for curiosity alone. But you have to find a correct pinion separately. Don't put this in anything other than a Grasshopper.
