It was a joy to build; with no problems occuring.
However I have had a few problems:
Driveshafts - the pins keep coming out, but I have solved this by changing to Hellfire pins as they have slots in them. Now SOLVED however when the pins did come out they
Fuel Tank - Landed the third jump of a triple, and split the fuel tank. I didn't have a spare but modded an old X2 one to fit. But have now got another and have sealed the join. No problems during the one meeting I have run the new tank.
Front arms - These are supposed to be weak, but have only managed to break one so far. Tmaiy are supposed to be coming out with an improved design soon which will solve this.
Even though there are a couple of problems, it is still a joy to drive! I love it, so much better than my X2 and am now able to keep up with the Losi's on the track. I am yet to start playing with setup at all - I qualified 5th overall at a brand new track with the box stock setup which is pretty good! There is still a lot to come from the truck, and I hope to be able to exploit this next year during the nationals.
I loved building the truck so much that I ordered the buggy even before running it, and am so glad that I did because the buggy is basically a buggy version of this, with all the problems sorted.
