This is the Tamiya Grasshopper "Candy Green Limited Edition" 1/10 Off-Road 2WD Buggy Kit. The popular R/C Grasshopper is a great beginner kit for new R/C hobbyists entering the world of assembly kits. The Grasshopper itself has started many hobbyists on their path to more advanced kits. This version of the Grasshopper is a limited-edition model featuring a pre-painted body in eye-catching Candy Green.

Features:

  • Durable plastic body is pre-painted in Candy Green. It is screw-fastened to the chassis, creating a solid frame that can absorb any type of rough terrain.
  • Rear wheel drive chassis features a durable bathtub frame, independent swing axle front and rigid axle rear suspension.
  • Features friction dampers.
  • Sealed gearbox is equipped with a gear differential.
  • Paddle style rear tires and grooved front tires combine with 3-piece assembly type wheels for excellent grip on dirt surfaces.
  • Includes the Tamiya TBLE-02S ESC (brushless motor and brushed motor compatible)
  • Includes a 380-type motor. A Type 540 motor can also be installed for more power. (sold separately)

The Tamiya Grasshopper has been one of the most iconic cars for Tamiya and for the rc industry, to have a new rereleased grasshopper in your hands today is very exciting and the nostalgia is what brings you back to your youth. The grasshopper came in white, black and green, and I have to say that the green grasshopper really pops with its factory paint you will want to display this car forever for all to see. You cant go wrong with this iconic car and it will bring back the feeling of being a kid again for all who was old enough to remember the original 80's Grasshopper. For the new generation getting into rc this car uses the original 80's style suspension so do a little research before going to the track with this car. The car comes in kit style and the build is suitable for all experience levels that can turn a screwdriver, my daughter helped build hers at 5 years old. Currently I own all versions and 2 white ones and love all of them so get them before their gone. Rc Mike
