Tamiya 1/35 M4A3 Sherman 105mm Howitzer Plastic Model Kit. The assault support of the M4A3 Sherman 105mm Howitzer enters the Military Miniature Series. This kit accurately recreates the powerful appearance of the actual 105mm Sherman and includes three infantrymen figures in realistic poses that allow you to create a realistic diorama. Excelling in both reliability and production capabilities, the M4 Sherman series of tanks became the staple fighting vehicles for the WWII Allies. Three types of main armament were used on the M4A3, with the first production type receiving the 75mm main gun. Subsequent types received a 76mm main gun, and finally, the 105mm Howitzer was adopted to provide heavy fire support for assaults on enemy posts. The 105mm Howitzer was carried in a M52 combination mount and could fire M1 shells at angles from -10 to +35 degrees, with a whopping range of approximately 11,500m. The M4A3 Sherman 105mm Howitzer tanks played an indispensable role in the destruction of enemy positions by the U.S. infantry fighting on the front lines.
