This is the Tamiya Full-View Mercedes-Benz 300 SL Model Kit. This kit is based on the original Tamiya 1/24 Mercedes-Benz 300SL Model Kit (TAM24338), but has the "Full-View" treatment. The "Full-View" series features a clear body and transparent parts that display the model's interior, allowing car enthusiasts to enjoy the beauty and elegance that Mercedes provides. The 300 SL was first released in 1954, which was the production sports car version of the phenomenally successful racing prototype from 1952. Featuring an elegant body with gull-wing doors that can be secured in an open position, this model also visually mimics the three-liter inline-six engine that pioneered direct fuel injection.
