Model Kit Overview:
Tamiya 1/12 Honda Dax125 Model Kit. This model kit recreates the Honda Dax125 Limited Edition in 1/12 scale. Following the popular Monkey Z-Series bikes, Honda announced the Dax in 1969. It had a distinctive T-bone frame engineered with pressed steel that housed the fuel tank and the centrifugal clutch engine. The Dax was designed to be ridden by anyone, anywhere, and it was widely accepted all around the world due to its charming and distinctive form.
In 2022, Honda announced the Dax125 which inherits the established Dax identity. The full-size Dax125 that Tamiya has recreated with this model kit was the idea of the official Honda dealer Cub House in Thailand, which was announced at the 2023 Bangkok International Motor Show. With dedicated decals for the muffler heat guard and the wheel rims, this limited-edition version features a horn cover with a Dachshund emblem, a dedicated serial number for each bike, and an exclusive helmet with the Tamiya logo.
