This is a set of optional ST Racing Concepts Aluminum Threaded Front Shock Bodies, and are intended for use with the Traxxas Slash, and Slash 4x4, as well as the Nitro Slash. These CNC Machined Aluminum shock sets feature threaded aluminum shock bodies with O-ring installed pre-load adjustment collars, in which the O-ring secures your pre-load adjustments in place. Threaded shock bodies allow for precise ride height and spring pre-load adjustments making them an awesome upgrade for both bashers and racers! These shocks also feature aluminum lower shock caps to keep the shock cartridge straight and flex free during suspension operation and heavy suspension compression.

ST Racing Concepts Aluminum Threaded Front Shock Body Set for Traxxas Slash
A great upgrade for the drag slash. Adjustable pre load with no shock spacers to mess with. Simply turn the collar for more or less pre load. Amains is my go to place for my rc products.

ST Racing Concepts Aluminum Threaded Front Shock Body Set for Traxxas Slash
This is a very nice upgrade part. It is nicely machined, and very refined. The shock threads are smooth, and the preload adjustments are easy to tune. It also matches well with the Traxxas aluminum shock caps. However, these do not include the o-rings. Only the shock bodies and spring preloaders came, so you will have to reuse the seals and diaphragm or get the Traxxas shock rebuild kit.

Overall, I think that this is well worth the purchase, even without the o-rings, because it is refined, nicely machined, and is way better than the Traxxas big bore shocks (big bores are more expensive, and also do not have threads for more precise tuning)
