This is a optional ST Racing Concepts Aluminum HD Front Shock Tower, and is intended for use with the Traxxas Slash 4x4. Greatly reduce the flex of the stock plastic towers on your Slash 4x4 with this CNC Machined Aluminum HD Front Shock Tower. This CNC machined aluminum heavy duty front shock tower will not only add great looks to your Slash 4x4, but it will eliminate the flex in your shock tower, keeping your Slash 4x4’s suspension operating true to its design.

ST Racing Concepts Aluminum HD Front Shock Tower for Traxxas Slash (Blue)
This is the worst experience that I bought a rubbish part for my stampede 4x4. Totally I bought two of them, the first problem is that these two shock towers have different colors, the first one it is really ugly because my ST rear shock tower has a very beautiful blue on it, but the front color is obviously different. The second problem is that the material is really bad, it is far away worse than the traxxas optional shock towers. it is so soft and really easy to be bent. Anyway, no more buy ST racing anymore.

ST Racing Concepts Aluminum HD Front Shock Tower for Traxxas Slash (Blue)
These are pretty good shock towers. My only complaint with them was when I was racing, the aluminum shock post that the strc shock towers come with are almost too sturdy. I had a hard hit and the screw that goes in behind the shock to the post completely broke off inside the post, which means I now have to order a new post which isn't too bad. The rear shock tower held up better but a hard hit made two of the mounting screws rip through the rear differential casing. I am now currently running my stock plastic shock towers and they continue to hold up. Overall, not too bad of a product but could be improved.
