Spektrum Smart Batteries come in all cell counts and sizes, from 2S-Shorty Packs to 6S-Stick Packs. Smart batteries also range in capacity and C-ratings to suit each user's needs.

Spektrum Smart Chargers, when paired with Smart batteries, can auto charge, provide valuable telemetry data, and give you the health data of your Smart batteries. Smart chargers ensure that your batteries stay at peak performance for each extreme RC session.

IC Connectors

Spektrum IC connectors are designed similarly to EC connectors with one major difference. IC connectors incorporate a third, smaller wire to the connector. This wire is used to provide telemetry data to Spektrum Smart chargers and for balance charging. Only having one connector on your LiPo batteries provides an easy "plug and play" connectivity for ease of use. The IC connector is also backward compatible with EC connectors of the same size making it compatible with a wide range of RC platforms.

Automatic Storage Mode

To prolong the life of your LiPo batteries, it is not recommended to leave your batteries fully charged for an extended time. This is why Smart batteries are equipped with an auto storage discharge mode. If you leave a fully charged, or partially charged Spektrum Smart Battery for more than 72hrs the battery will enter "Auto-Storage". The battery will automatically discharge to a safe storage voltage of 3.90V/Cell. This helps your Smart batteries to last longer when not in use.

Technology Packed LiPo Batteries

Each Smart Battery is equipped with an integrated microchip. The battery shares data collected with other Smart devices simplifying charging and providing you with more data to monitor your batteries health.

Purpose Built Chargers

Smart Chargers are designed to give you more control over your Smart batteries. The charger will auto charge as soon as you plug in a Smart battery. The charger will also provide cell health and inform you of any faults the charger may find with the battery for a safer user experience. While intended for Smart batteries, the Smart chargers are also capable of charging standard LiPo batteries just without all the data provided by Smart Batteries.
