The Spektrum S6230 servo offers a high-torque solution in a compact form factor for 1/10 class vehicles. For select 2wd and 4wd buggy platforms, a shorty style servo is preferred to allow for extra real-estate to mount electronics in the chassis. Additionally rock crawlers, monster trucks, and touring cars can benefit from this servos smaller than average size.

Spektrum RC S6230 Digital Steel Gear High Torque Low Profile Servo
Put this servo in my Axial Yeti Kit build and I couldn't be happier. I put a couple HiTech and Savox servos and they were both quite loud at all times, even with a glitch buster. These Spektrum servos are fantastic, completely silent and it turns my big aluminum wheels/tires without a problem at all. Plenty of torque for the Yeti platform. Speaking of platforms, I also put a 6240 high speed servo in my Losi Baja Rey and that thing is lightning quick and doesn't chatter/buzz like most Savox servos do on 6v too. I'm a big fan of these servos, so I'll be purchasing more going forward.

Spektrum RC S6230 Digital Steel Gear High Torque Low Profile Servo
I'm not sure why people are down on Spektrum servos. This is a great servo, I'm using it in the Losi Lasernut and it's super responsive and reliable. Before I purchased this servo, I purchased an EcoPower WP120T that failed immediately and then a MKS X5 that was so loud! This servo is silent and powerful. You do have to switch the steering on your transmitter, this servo steers the opposite direction.

Spektrum RC S6230 Digital Steel Gear High Torque Low Profile Servo
Great servo, used on SMT10 with Renegade 5.6 tires and easily turned the wheels no matter the surface. Perfect for axle mounted servo vehicles as the wire unplugs at the servo end for easy removal / maintenance.

I run this servo in both my techno EB48 2.1 and ET48 2.0 1/8 scales buggy and truggy and very happy with these!
