Spektrum RC DX4R Pro DSMR 4-Channel Surface Radio w/SR2000 & SR410 Receivers
Great radio for the price....Adjustable trigger makes all the difference if you have smaller hands...frame rate is outstanding with digital servos....A must have upgrade for anyone using a dx3s or dx3r pro..

Spektrum RC DX4R Pro DSMR 4-Channel Surface Radio w/SR2000 & SR410 Receivers
I've been using this one for a year now. like all spektrum radios the steering wheel spring broke. They use to just send you a spring now you have to send them the radio and they fix it. That sucks if you race every weekend....I had one more problem with it, when you bump it, it would shut off! It happened in a nitro race and caused lots of damage to my buggy!!! I adjusted the battery springs and it still shuts off! I sent it back for repair... I posted this on Horizon's site and they didn't post my review... I guess they don't want to post negative ratings about their products!!!

Spektrum RC DX4R Pro DSMR 4-Channel Surface Radio w/SR2000 & SR410 Receivers
By far, most comfortable radio I've ever had. I use the larger grip and it is just right, I never held the m12, but I've owned the mt4, 4pl, and lower end airtronics and spektrum. I'm not worried about range, as I only use at the track. I'm not one to review the computer interface because I don't care much for the elaborate computer systems, I really never adjust anything but the basic stuff. For me, I just wanted a radio that felt right in my hand, and this is it.

Spektrum RC DX4R Pro DSMR 4-Channel Surface Radio w/SR2000 & SR410 Receivers
Not a bad radio feature wise, the light weight is nice, the menu is very simple and you don't need the manual to figure out how to do most functions. The quality Is questionable (coming from a KO ex10) the scroll button on this radio feels like it's not going to last long and I've seen some cheap radios with better case quality and switch feel. The cases hardly line up evenly at the seem and the plastic feels and looks cheap. Overall I'm happy with the radio, I'll have to buy a sticker kit to make it feel and look like a $350 radio.

Spektrum RC DX4R Pro DSMR 4-Channel Surface Radio w/SR2000 & SR410 Receivers
I pre ordered mine from Horizon and tested it out at my normal park. Range was terrible. Tested both receivers in multiple vehicles, all with the same issue. Range was less than my TQI and my HPI stock tx/rx.

Besides the range issue,I was very disappointed in the quality of the jog dial. Felt like the dial on the DX6i. For the price it should feel like a DX8.

Horizon was awesome with their CS as always and excepted my return with no fees and returned my money in full.
