Seamless Smart Technology Integration

The DX3 Smart Transmitter is fully equipped for Smart Technology, enabling real-time telemetry with compatible Smart ESCs and receivers. By connecting the optional Bluetooth Module (SPMBT2000 - sold separately) and downloading the free Spektrum Dashboard™ app, users can access vital performance metrics such as top speed, battery voltage, and component temperatures directly on their smart device. With this system, you can also set alarms for temperature and voltage, helping to prevent damage and optimize performance.

With its programmable settings, the DX3 Smart allows drivers to fine-tune their experience to match their specific preferences. I got this transmitter with the Super Baja Rey 2.0 and wasn't expecting much for an RTR set as most are dismissible rather quickly. But this DX3 and the receiver that was also included with the truck are a fantastic quality combo that outperforms other RTR options easily. I really don't see a need for upgrading anytime soon, and if I did I might actually consider sticking with Spektrum and just getting a DX5C. I have most of my other RCs on Flysky NB4 with their AFHDS3 receivers, which is a superior system to me on many levels, minus one important feature; AVC.

Spektrum nailed it with their assisted driving system. AVC blows the rest away, and I've tried as many as I could to compare. Radiolink, Flysky, Traxxas, and PowerHD gyros all do fine in one category but lack or completely fail in others. AVC no matter what it is dialed to, stays in composure and doesn't do any unpredictable tomfoolery. I've put this DX3/SR6100AT combo in a few other trucks to see how it works and its awesome in them all. I really don't rely on gyros when I am in full focus driving mode, but when I'm just cruising from one spot to the next its great to have. Honestly I've been very thankful in a few situations to have it on, it's corrected me on stupid mistakes that I would have never seen coming that could have been costly. The more expensive the RC, the more I find myself pretty happy to have the option of AVC (or any gyro at the least).

This transmitter is strong and has the basic settings you need to really just get out and drive. The range is further than I can see, it's comfortable to hold, lightweight, the wheel is a great size with nice foam. I converted mine to a Lipo/NiMH setup for recharge-ability and it works perfect with a 7.4v Lipo which is over the 6V operating voltage especially when fully charged (8.4v) but its worked fine for many hours. 6V NiMH recharge packs are all over the place to purchase that would work perfectly for this transmitter.

Honestly an amazing upgrade to any RTR, and a fan favorite. Seriously, this transmitter is extremely comfortable and feels great in the hand. coming with the 3-channel receiver, you are really only spending less than 50$ for the transmitter (when you subtract the $50+ for the DSMR receiver), and it is worth every penny!

I bought this radio because I already have one in my LOSI Lmt and Love it. I replaced the one from the CEN Racing Hl150 and plan on replacing my slt3 that is currently it my SMT10. It has great range and reaction time for my use. I really enjoy using this unit. And as usual A-main nailed it with fast shipping and great prices and service.

This has been one of the best transmitter and receivers I have used. I have only had it a week or so now and fully haven't experienced all it offers yet but still love it. The only issue is I bought the Bluetooth module at the same time but all of my phones "are to new" and can't download the dashboard app. Trying to figure it out and keep ya posted. Happy R'Cing everyone.

I give it no stars period . Garbage don't waste your money I'd didn't even last two batteries in my slash before it broke inside the switch for the steering snapped and no more steering and no way to fix it I will never buy a spectrum product again this is the third issue with their controllers they always break inside and don't say I'm too rough they sit on a shelf when not in use
