SkyRC Super Rider SR5 RTR 1/4 Brushless Dirt Bike (Red)
Super Rider is a legend. He even has his own brand of goggles! Seriously, this bike is a lot of fun and it's well built. I don't use the nimh battery that's included, I use my own 2 cell lipo for a little more speed. With some practice, you will be driving this like a pro, doing power slides and popping wheelies. I drive it on grass while learning so it doesn't get completely scraped up from tip overs. The Super Rider figure is brittle and somewhat fragile - he can get hurt easily. His head broke off the second day after an accidental front flip. You can put him back together with hot glue, this holds the longest - I tried epoxy, tape and crazy glue and they don't last as long. The front fork has no damping, it's like a pogo stick. When it gets hard to move, I free it up with a little aerosol lock lubricant that does not attract dirt. The rear shock is good, and also adjustable. The oil inside it is very thick. I think it's great that AMain is finally carrying this bike, because it's been hard to find and spare parts are only available from China. Hopefully they will carry parts also. But nothing really breaks on it, other than the rider and you can glue him back together. Now I also have the Losi Promoto bike. Basically, the Promoto has a much improved design that's easier to drive. If you can afford to spend more, the Promoto is an amazing vehicle that has more scale details and a gyro stabilizer that keeps the bike from looping out (flipping backward). It's also got a working front disc brake and oil-filled fork. If you're a motocross fan, I would say to think of Super Rider as the scrappy privateer with a stock bike and limited support who is trying to earn a factory ride, and Promoto as an established top factory rider with endless resources and the latest racing technology.
