Schumacher Mezzo 1/10 Buggy Rear Tires feature a completely redesigned carcass, with development focused on the thickness of the profile to support the pin and improve the life span. The Mezzo has a varied pin type across the tire, enabling it to be more suitable to a wider variety of track conditions, including long and short pile astro. The pin type gives improved side traction whilst maintaining forward traction. Also, the Mezzo lasts longer and provides great bump handling thanks to the taller sidewall profile.

Pins can be cut to reduce traction if desired. Ultimately the Mezzo is aimed at Astro, Yellow compound for dry high performance, Silver for wet and Blue for longer life. The SCHU6734 Foam Tire Insert; Med - Rear - CAT (pr) is recommended for both Yellow, Silver or Blue rear tires.

We run black style office carpet also and I agree with all these statements. Last longer, amazing grip. I fell these actually freed the car up from the mini pins.

I race 2WD buggy on a black office style carpet, very high grip. These tires were recommended to me by some other racers. The yellow compound holds up to practice days and seems to give a good amount of forward bite. They don't seem noticeably slower than the JC Nessi tires that the majority of the track runs. But these are much less expensive. Overall pleased with this tire.

These tires are simply amazing for carpet and astroturf. The forward bite is on-par or better than the Mini Dart. The side bite is HIGHER than the Mini Dart (this can be a good or bad thing depending on setup). The amazing part is, the Mezzo lasts 3-4X as long as the Mini Darts. The Mini Darts might be a touch faster if you are using fresh tires for every heat/race but the Mezzo will hang on for multiple race DAYS. I'm 100% converted to Mezzo's!

Flawless on high traction carpet. I run 17.5 with a slipper eliminator and these tires last about 4-5 hours of hard driving.
