Samix SCX24 Brass Servo Mount (Black) (EcoPower/Emax) (7g)

It is a beautiful upgrade piece but the holes for the tie rods are not the same size. One side is threaded and accepts the original screws the other side is over sized and the screw just passes thru. This will only work for you if you are using a 3 point mounting system. You need to use the 'Y' tie rod.

This should be expressly stated in the description or compatibility, it is not. Wasted my money. Thanks.

I bought this to pair with the suggested ECO servo for my SCX24 Gladiator. While the mount has a tight fit it still catches the frame on the top sides while at maximum axle articulation and it puts the servo to far forward causing it to bind everywhere. I’m wondering why I didn’t go with Yeah Racing’s even though I don’t know if theirs has the same issue. Good luck with getting both to work.

I bought this mount to go with the Emax servo. This is a direct fit and I did not have any issues mounting this plate to the servo or to the SCX24 Deadbolt Chassis. Where I did have issues is finding some hardware to mount to the after market aluminum front link I have. Buyer beware If you want to run the the aluminum front link (Hot Racing link), Emax servo and this mount you'll have to get creative to get it working. I'm not convinced yet that this servo mount has any performance gain to just a standard aluminum or stock mount. I've played with all sorts of weight combinations so far I've taken them all out. IMO this is a solid piece and fits perfect to the Emax servo with the supplied hardware. However I'm just not sure it's all that, though I could be surprised as I drive more.

I agree with Eric-Todd Anderson, the link connection is open on one end and threaded on the other. Cannot put a 4 link only 3 link wishbone. If I knew this i wouldn't have gotten this, but its brass compared to aluminum. Great being brass, but no 4 link.

Servo mounting screws are 2mm while others are 1.4mm. Replaced the knurled screw with a button head 2x5 screw which has larger surface area. If you are using Emax, you have to enlarge the holes or it will crack. Ecopower servo is already 2mm.

Update: I filed down the side edges to fit injoras plastic ended 4 link but have to use a nut on one side. I love it.
